  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. I usually name the character for the doll after it's been on my wishlist for quite some time. If I have wanted it long enough that I already know where to fit it into my story so I might as well give it a name. Also I feel like naming the dolls on your wishlist helps it from your dolly plans changing all the time by thinking "Oh I found a doll that looks really cool I should buy it!" because it reminds you that you already have characters have priorities on your list to attend to first, it for me stops impulse buying.

    7. The next doll on my wishlist already has a name.
      When I find a sculpt I like, I like to create a personality for them before I buy them.
      So, my future dragon boy, an RS Pi, already has his name, personality, and history.
      His name is Silas, by the way.
      I am quite excited for him.
      I actually might be able to start his layaway soon.

    8. For the most part, yes, I usually always name the dolls in my wishlist because I know I'm going to buy them and dress into a character of mine. But right now? Only one of the four dolls I am lusting for has a name, and that's mostly because I didn't have a character in mind, I just really want the doll.

      Volks Dollfie Dream Yukino: Usagi [yes, I wanna make Sailor Moon, soooo unique right?]
      Iplehouse YID Freezia: ???
      Soom Mecha Angel: ??? [but I mean who cares?! It's a friggin 80cm doll!]
      Angel of Dream Piao: ??? [ and this one is 90cm! hell, I'll call him Sasquatch!]

    9. I try to keep only one doll on my wishlist at a time and I always give them a name before I get them. I don't have any on my wishlist right now though ^^".

    11. Yes. I get dolls to be characters so I pick dolls that look like my original characters. If I find some other doll that looks more like them, that's cool. That's what's flexible. My list is more about what character I want to make into a doll, not what mold I want.

    12. Yes! I always have a name for my incoming dolls because if I am getting one it has a character/personality associated with them. My next incoming 1/6 boy as an example, his name will be Oakley and he is going to be an Oak leaf fairy. :)

    14. A lot of the dolls on my wish list have names. Most of my dolls are avatars of my characters, and I often choose dolls on that basis.

    17. I don't write stories or base my dolls on characters, but my wishlist dolls all have names - all 7 of them! My only problem is that when I started out with BJD a year ago, I didn't think I'd be getting more than a couple of dolls....:lol: Stupidly I made this 'rule' that all my doll's names must begin with the letter 'E' as my own name begins with E.....which was fine for a while - but now I'm running out of 'E' names :?

    18. I think of wich doll I'll buy based on my characters so, yes, they all have names before I buy them (and the sculpts may change in accord to their history if I take to long to buy them). Currently:

      ~ Supia Girl - Hael: Anwen I. Knethell
      ~ Migidoll - Noel: Michel Lamounier
      ~ Spirit Doll - Herculean Pine: Edward Morse

      There is a lot of other characters whose sculpt was not yet decided, so they are not on the list (:

    19. I base my dolls on characters, too. So, the only doll on my wishlist right now is a Crobidoll Lance who will be named Enjolras. :)

      Resinsoul Feng - Joseph

      I have more but those are just a few I'm guilty of naming before I get them.
