1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you ever name the dolls on your dolly wishlist?

May 31, 2013

    1. I try not to name dolls on my wishlist. Once I have a character (and, for me, naming comes after I have a character), I want the doll home as soon as possible. I prefer the dolls on my wishlist to be without characters or names until I know they're coming home :)

    2. I don't add a doll to my wishlist unless I have a name for them usually. Because I feel that if I can't come up with a name for them, then I don't really want them.
      I think the only exception is a MNF Karsh... He doesn't have a name yet because i'm unsure which character he'll be. ^^;; So rather than no name, I call him both names when I talk about him. XD;;

    3. I guess there are two dolls on my wishlist atm. Soon I'll have a Littlefee Soo Dark Elf named Elouise. She's also already got a personality and stuff. I'll be ordering her v soon. The other isn't even a specific doll yet and I don't know that I'll ever order her, I just like to toy with the idea.

    4. Absolutely yes, I do, since most of the dolls are supposed to be characters from my stories.

    5. I have a character/theme in mind for a pukipuki pong that is based about the ble summer sky so i allready know i'll call her sky when i can get her.

    6. Of course, but then once I name them I get too attatched, and then of course I have to order the doll because I can't control myself and being too attached to a doll. XD

    7. I've named some of them. The dolls I want from DearMine will be named once I have them, though.

      Fairyland LF Big Pukisha: Mao
      Dollmore Malli: Mia Selene

    8. E'yup.

      DC Elizabeth - Willow

DZ Brant - Dante...He just looks like a Dante..

    9. Yes, I do. I have already decided their names and characters before I buy them!
      Wanting:
Minifee Chloe - Ava (My LTF Chloe's mum)
Minifee Ante - Grace (My Kid Delf Pine's girlfriend)

    10. I try not to put dolls on my wishlist that I don't have names for which is probably why it's so short :sweat though sometimes an unnamed doll manages to sneak it's way on there

    11. Yep, I've named a few but the names always change but the dolls I want don't.

    12. I have trouble enough coming up with names for the dolls I already own, so I don't see myself ever coming up with names for ones that I may never even get... plus I have a feeling that I'd be more tempted to actually buy more dolls on my wishlist if they had names.

    13. Cool question! )))yes, I dream of having two boys, they have their names - Lucas and North ) But I haven't chosen suitable dolls for them so far)))

    14. they all have names. if i don't know what to do with them they can be as pretty as they want but they don't make it to the wish list, so, before they even make it to the wish list they have a name and personality that develops with time

    15. If the doll is based off a character of mine, yes, they have names. But otherwise, I like to keep them nameless...it keeps me from getting so attached and distressed that I can't buy them. :(

    16. Of course! Any doll that goes on my wish list usually gets a name.

      Currently on my wish list:
      Minifee Mirwen boy: Rory/Everett
      Migidoll Jina: August
      Bluefairy Olive boy: London

    17. I do have a number of names I'd like to use for dolls and characters, but unless I find one that I know will fit perfectly, I tend not to name them til they get home. I don't always think about buying a doll for a character. Sometimes I just really like them, in which case they develop in to their own when they get home...then get a name! :)

    18. I do, right now I really am just waiting for her to be shipped but I do have 3 dolls on there away well kinda 5. (but I will start with the 3) I wanted a centaur doe a long time then when I found one even before she was on layaway she I named her cyan. Cyan is coming with another doll I do not plan to keep so I have not named her. Another one I have on layaway I hope my friend gets the same one then we will have twins and give them twin names if not I have to come up with a different idea. The other two I had them made to look like certain characters so yes they are named. Also before this my one dream doll I got he was a character I figured would be my perfect idea of a doll and so for the year before I had the money to order him I had named him, I was just waiting for the doll.

    19. I do! Or I did, at least. I do have special characters in mind for the dolls on my wishlist. But since I usually have bad luck with character dolls, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work out how I wanted. I'd still keep the dolls and make up something else.

    20. i always have a character in mind before searching for a dollie so they are usually named while still on the wishlist
