1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you interact with your dolls on a daily basis?

Jul 24, 2013

    1. I make it a point to interact with them every day, even if its for just a few moments before bed time. I can't pass them without reaching out and touching their hand or playing with their hair, maybe straightening an article of clothing.

    2. As much as I want to, I just don't have the energy most days D: Let alone the clean space for my doll to be in. I feel a little guilty because I spent so much on her and she just stays in her carry bag most days...(Anything over $30 is a lot for me lol)

At the very least, every time I look at her case, I think of her? Lol

    3. I interact with them as often as I can ~ I love hanging out with them, working on them, taking them places etc.

    4. I sometimes communicate via our mind. I have this wierd idea that i can communicate with my dollies by talking inside ''our minds''. Its creepy and wierd i know but makes me kinda happy :love

    5. I interact with my dolls every day, I feel bad if I doesn't give them attention. They are precious to me. I keep my dolls in my living room, in luminated glass cabinets, so I can see them most of my time while I'm home. A also talk with them, and often stand looking a their beauty, with admiration, cuddling with their hear and sometimes carry them around. My smart dolls in Vinyl are easier to play with, I often carry them around, cuddling with them and place them on my table or with my computer.

    6. I'm currently living in a small home and don't want to overwhelm my husband with dolls, so at the moment I've only got Uriah out of his box. Everyone else is keeping quiet at the top of the linen closet and I haven't seen them since before I moved in February. >_<

But Uriah sits on my computer tower or near me while I write. Even if I don't pick him up every single day, I certainly look at him.

Soon I will have a cabinet or table for them in the dining room and then I'll gladly be interacting with them all nearly every day, I would imagine.

    7. I don't interact with my doll everyday, sadly. But I feel like a lot of it has to do with the doll being headless (their head should be shipping soon I hope!). I do feel kind of bad about it, but I honestly cannot justify hanging out with a doll that has no head ._.

I'm sure once their head comes in though they'll be my little pal and will be seen with me at all times :D
I definitely plan on displaying them on my desk, just so I can see them and hang out with them everyday.

    8. I spend a lot of time with my current doll, and he's around me whenever I'm in my room. I feel kind of like I offend him if I don't spend enough time with him... So I pay attention to him as much as possible. :XD:

    9. I interact with them maybe every other day ^_^ i like to move them and pose them but
I usually just keep them in places where I can look at them every once and a while

    10. No I don't interact with my BJD's on a daily basis and I prefer it that way. Some are simply on display and others are still in their boxes as I need more display space. I appreciate the boxed dolls more when I do see them as there's little chance of me getting bored with them as i'm not looking at them day to day. I like LOOKING at my dolls but not messing about with them. I only touch them when cleaning them or if I decide to change their clothes, wig etc. Interaction would be very limited anyway as they aren't "alive" and so are unable to talk, change facial expression or move on their own. I don't play with my dolls, I see them as collectable works of art and enjoy them as such.

    11. Probably not everyday but often. I sew for them a lot, take them with me everywhere and take them around the house with me sometimes. Sometimes though I get busy and don't have time for them.

    12. No,actually. Since I have them packed up neatly in boxes, it'll be silly to talk to a box. But the boxes are constantly in my peripheral vision so I never forget about my dolls.

    13. One of my dolls is a therapy doll, so I play with her pretty much every day since she goes everywhere with me. My other dolls aren't quite as lucky; they get put on a shelf and I occasionally shift them around. It's... kinda depressing.

    14. I myself don't interact with the dolls a lot, I only do it by re-dressing them etc., when I'm tired of their look or character. I don't treat the dolls as alive and for me they are just the beautiful art pieces, so I don't feel the need tio interact with them a lot. However if a wig gots somehow placed wrong or inaccurate, I may spend a lo tof time trying to put it as it should be, sometimes it takes me more time to fix something than to completely dressa doll :)

    15. I have many dolls, some are "asleep" as I call it in plastic containers but many are on display., those are vinyl though. My two bjds are at attention on my desk so I see them everyday when I sit there and look at how gorgeous a couple they are.

    16. I try to interact with my doll on a daily basis, even if it means just patting their head / dusting them / changing their sitting position / staring at them for a good moment.... At times I take photos of them, but not every day.

    17. i will pat some of their heads and say goid night haha

    18. mine sits next to me while im doing my homework, sometimes in between assignments ill fix up her hair or snap some pictures and this is pretty much everyday x3

    19. I don't interact with all my dolls every day, however I do interact with at least one of them a day. If I am stuck and unsure what to write and my editor is yelling at me I often dissapear and start playing with my dolls insteaed. Sometimes if I lack inspiration i take the dolls or if I am to write a fighting scene, then I make a point of using the dolls to enact the scene, helping me to write it much clearer. The dolls are a very important part of my work so I definitely interact with them all the time.

    20. I did in the beginning but now that I'm trying to get my manga together and craft the characters for them not as much as before. I have started picking up my dollfie dream lately and trying to redo her look
