Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Don't be so modest, dhawk -- you're fantastic. And wonderful fun to hang with. I am counting the days till Fencon when I'll get to see you & your crew again.

      Quanita, the measures required to keep the dolls safe are going to depend on the cat. Our older cat, Baka, was only exposed to them for a short time before passing away, but generally she showed no interest; a sniff or two occasionally, but nothing else. I had to resort to putting the dolls behind glass to keep them away from Genki, though -- he takes after the Siamese side of his ancestry, loves to climb and get into things. So my resin kids stay in the the china cabinet unless I'm playing with them, and then I have to keep an out for him so that wigs or or bits of clothing don't end up as cat toys. Gods help me if he were grow opposable thumbs.

    2. My first furr wig went on walkabout till a year after I'd sold the doll it went to. Learned my lesson after that!

      Lynn, I'm sharing a room with my brother this time, so we'll have more time to hang out!

      And that little OffT fellow I was working on this weekend is finished! He now lives with KellyinDallas' daughter Abbey.

    11. I've just bought a doll on the MP! This is newsworthy because I've never bought anything larger than a head on the MP so far :p. It's a doll with freckles.

      Lintila, I love your freckled girl! Is she an Ingenue?

      Meanwhile, I'm making chainmail. Boy, is that labour-intensive! But fun, at the same time :).

      I missed out on my birthday pressie - an instock DC Hugh ... he was sold while my folks were dragging their heels lol, kinda gutted so I guess I won't get my birthday pressie until next year. And I'm really surprised I haven't had a shipping notice for my Luts order - seems to be taking so much longer this time around and I ordered over xmas last time.
      stabbed myself with a needle trying to bead with size 15's :lol: but turned out worth it - the finished necklace looks great on Anna (I'll post a pic tomorrow - the only ones I have are with crappy lighting lol)

      my birthday is looking up - I just found my grail doll on the MP!!!! :fangirl: keep your fingers crossed for me that he's still available :lol:

      oh and here's Anna in the necklace that stabbed my finger lol - but so happy with how it came out ... now to just figure out how to make outfits for them and it'll be all good :lol:

      They're doing a 'one-off' release with OMG kinds of stupid restrictions... makes you think they WANT an excuse to say 'there wasn't enough interest'. But it's ultimately CP, not Fairyland themselves. It was funny to read the frustration in the English Twitter agent's posts. Bah! Bad CP! BAD!

      dhawktx I thought of you as soon as I read the news about CLines. I didn't read any details because they aren't my thing, too bad about the restrictions etc.

      My dollie time will be restricted for the next while because I'm back to teaching next week and I'm taking an online course towards my masters. I'm glad the gang is almost all together so I can see them, and reposition them and what not every day. Still waiting for Flicker and Crys' body to arrive.
