DOD limited DoT Black Elf Sha

Yep. He's definitely not resized to fit. And I think that's killing his popularity a bit. Lol. I think if anything, I want the tender elf head and thats it. But.. I have to deal with the tender lahoo head that's sitting around here.... -_-;

Do you think it is the DOT head on the DOI body? That wouldn't be proportionate at all would it. This has me rethinking this purchase. I rather get the Tender Elf head with the DOT Sha whom I love. Any input would be appreciated.

 

I really think it is a DOT sized head on a DOI body. Like I said, I put my Sha's head on my Luke's body and it looked the same size as the pics on there.. -_- Very disappointing..

 

Its weird, but when I was resizing the Black Sha pic to look like the DOI body pic, the head looks roughly the same!
Yet, I do think the head's a little too small. But then again, it's probably anatomically correct compared to a human

 

my god, DOD do know how to make their dreaming heads.... that event head is killing me ..... love it! if only i havent planned 4 dolls already ..

I wasn't too fond of the DOI body because of the muscles (muscles are icky, lol), but he's SO PRETTY!! And I actually like that body in tan. o_O; God must of blinked or something...rofl. I hope I can afford him, I wants hims. 333

(P.S. If anybody wants that outfit, let me know. I wouldn't mind doing a split (i get doll, you get outfit), unless someone says something I'm not going to get the outfit...)

 

I think I'd just want the event head. The DoT head on the DoI body is an awkward combination. However, if you wanted to split it and put the head and body separate it might work..the outfit is nice.

Another thing: If anyone were to win the tan Tender Sha, there's only a couple of people who'll have bodies for it.

I don't care at ALL how weird he may or may not look - that is one FINE looking doll right there who's coming home to me. I feel ridiculously overjoyed seeing him. Am I the only one who thinks he looks perfect fine (gorgeous) just the way he is?? Cause I don't see any weirdness of size or anything. I have that body in person and its nice and slender, not bulky or overly muscled like other 70cm boys. The hands are not huge to me or anything. They are very elegant in person. DoD's dolls are a lot smaller and slender than other 70cm dolls I've seen or owned. The one picture with his shirt open? Just wow! That face looks innocent and sweet in some pictures, but in others just drop-dead sexy! I think it fits the body very well.

Did I say how much I love the DOI body?

So going to get even if I have to run people down in the process, lol!

 

Meh. Looks weird to me and the tan isn't doing it for me. Like the other event head though. But I wouldn't put it on a DOI body.

 

yup, if I had the money to get him, I would be squandering it all on him. He is absolutely beautiful, from his makeup, body, and face! Heck, he is a manga hero right off the page. His head is also actually wonderfully proportionate in my eyes. Don't the more mature sculpts tend to have smaller heads anyways?


also, if the eyes are all that are holding you back, then keep in mind that this isnt something that a set of new, downward cast, lush black eyelashes and 18mm or darker colored glass or urethane eyes will not be able to fix.

i was really thankful that it was a sha.. i like sha, but i wouldn't want to own him. i'm saving for a lahoo (will be my first BJD). i would have screamed if the limited was a lahoo, but i dodged that bullet. i also don't like tan dolls! another bullet dodged! third bullet dodged, i don't want a DOI body.. lol.. i'll probably try to scrounge for my lahoo before xmas though, because that pale, tender event head is rather nice. too bad i wasn't around for the tender lahoo event lul.

still. i really, really hope they catch up on their backlog in time before these ones ship out.

 

well, I think I'm in love too he looks gorgeous to me. the DOI body is really nice, I was able to fiddle with one yesterday and I liked it more than the DOT one

now I must decide if I need the tan one, or if I just need a DOI body and the tender event head... but the second option doesn't let me enter the tan tender lottery...

*goes back to furiously scratching her head*

 

If you're serious, I'd probably buy the head off of you.

ETA: On second thought, the thing that concerns me is the way the head will end up fitting on a normal DOT body. I seriously want to put this head on my tan shall's body so I can have an elf version of her but it probably wouldn't work huh. >_<

His proportions seem a little off, but it may just be that his clothes are a little bulky. Wish they'd post nudes...
