1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Does your doll has a room?

Jun 9, 2014

    1. My dolls don't have a room yet, but one day I plan to make one!

You should check out this thread. It's a ton of people's doll rooms and it's amazing :3 Probably my favorite thread on here!

    2. Thank you very one for your input!!

    3. I love seeing rooms created for dolls, it's so cute ! But mine is too tall, It would take so much space... I think if I get a new doll a little smaler I will make her a room.

    4. My dolls don't have a room yet. I am in the planning stages of story and home life.

    5. My dolls have a neat space on a book shelf that is pretty nice I think. The wood is beautiful and I just need a background which I am working on. I have a dresser for them, doll props and other things. I recently painted a couple small chests for them, green and purple to store more of their "stuff" in!:wiggle

    6. Unfortunately no:pout:

    7. It would still be awesome if I could give my crew their own living space. But my attempts have been quite futile. Mostley due to lack of space and cats. I have a few pieces of furniture for them so I could start a room at any point. But for now they will have to do with what they have. A nice spot in an open cupboard.

    8. I don't really have the space to make dioramas for my dolls. I have a few pieces of furniture, but that's it. I only have one tiny and I don't even know where I would keep one for her, so all of my larger dolls are pretty much out of the question. It sounds like a lot of fun, though.

    9. My dolls are everywhere in my room XD Sometimes they sit on my bed when I went out, sit on floor when the weather is hot, sit on my book shelves when I'm doing my work or sleeping, etc... I guess, I don't need specific house or room in their scale at all, since my room is conquered by them (>v<)

    10. No, mine don't have a room. For now, they live in their boxes until I want to take them out to play with them, since I'm in an apartment with limited space. I plan to be here for awhile because I love my apartment, but that means I need to make some sacrifices, and unfortunately that means less room for doll-related props and staging.

    11. I'm new to the hobby and so don't have a BJD yet, but I enjoy collecting other types of dolls and I really like setting up dioramas. I'm looking forward to setting up a general lounge in the future.

Thanks for sharing this link--looking at others' set ups is interesting! I also collect American Girl dolls so it's especially fun for me to see things used and modded from that line to better fit an owner's aesthetic.

    12. My dolls don't have a room, but I wish to do it sometimes.

    13. Used to, but the space was too small, and my room is too small for anything bigger. So I just got rid of it and improvise elsewhere.

    14. I think it would be awesome to create a scale sized room especially for my doll, but it takes too much space.
For now she has her own square, as in glass case. And a bunch of chairs that do fit in the square, but not with her on top of it =_=
Perhaps in the future I'll buy a tiny closet, in which she can stay. Still would be smaller than an actual on scale room.

    15. I have one small doll aroma, but I have one room in my house that is just for dolls and sewing for them ;)

    16. I have all my dolls and their stuff on top of my dresser (it looks kinda like a room but also not really lol) although Morgan usually ends up on my desk with me most of the time  i've been thinking about converting part of my closet into a room for them but I just keep getting lazy and never doing it

    17. She doesn't, but she has a shelf in the closet and I can see her through the glass :).

    18. I want to, I've even figured out what kind of way of setting up what I'd like for both my doll and the wifeys. [Inspired, in part, by our friends doll rooms] the main part would be finding what I need to make them right. But that is something that will have to wait until I either A) get a bigger apartment or B) get a house. [because it will take over the wall... I have plans for at least 6 rooms... all at least 75-80CM tall....]

    19. Not at the moment, no.
All of my dolls are SDs, and I'd need a little more space than I've got at the moment in order to store a roombox of that size.
