I was only really interested in Volks' sculpts but recently I've been drawn to SWITCH and Rosetta Doll. It's truly a danger to see so many beautiful sculpts out there...
I must admit that I’ve rediscovered Dollzone lately. I’ve had a few of their dolls in my collection from years ago, but my 4 most recent doll orders have all been for Dollzone dolls. Not sure exactly how or why that is except I was instantly smitten.
I've discovered a lot of new Chinese companies on Weibo lately, and I've definitely fallen in love with Mystery Phoenix's SD16 girls. The only thing that's stopping me from getting one is the waiting time. Another one of my new favorites is LunarMate. I really like their sculpts' expressions.
For me lately, it's been Ringdoll. I love their big boys, and was so happy to get a Lucifer last year. I also adore my Teen Alice, and little Jade with her cute little fangs! I am waiting on my 5th doll to arrive from that company right now, and I am so excited for my new ¼ boy to get here!
I've been coming back to the Doll Family umbrella again and again lately. They seem to have something I like in every size range, and stylistically they're really beautiful and their bodies look like great posers. I only have a body from them at the moment but I added an anime-styled doll from them since they were the first company to have chubby-bodied anime boys in 1/4 size. I'm such a sucker for chubby dolls lately.
I discovered The Trinket Box dolls by Kim Arnold a few weeks ago and just fell in love with them. They look so different and unique. My favourite sclupt is Elf Meadow, her big eyes and wonderful smile just make my heart melt
I love Sio2 SD sculpts so much! I have owned several, but most are built for 65cm+ bodies, I discovered. I would love to have kept them and put them on the bodies they deserved, but it's too much resin for me to handle well at that height. I'm so sad they rarely make an appearance anywhere.
I've just discovered Skyland Dolls and I cannot stop looking at their Instagram; their sculpts are just precious!
I'm not in the market for dolls anymore I don't think but I like to at least click advertisements sometimes and see what's happening I was really struck by the foveo faces yesterday. Those girls are very lovely to me.
Granado! I had a week worth of just back and fourth emails about their Saturn doll and information, theyre so kind and nice about everything, 10/10 I can't wait to get a doll from them
I recently discovered Phoenix Mystery ... They're relatively new and seem to be an offshoot of Loongsoul. I got taken by their promo photos, haha, I'm such a sucker for East Asian ancient/period clothing mixed with scifi/cyberpunk/future flavour, I feel like I don't see this combo often in BJD world. They make 66cm girls and 71cm boys. I've been eyeing tall girls lately that's why I started looking at them... but I think I may have fallen for one of their boys, yike. I'm following them now.
Doll Family H and Impldoll are definitely no1 for me at the moment nearly all the dolls I have bought in the past couple years have been from them. Impldoll’s new sculpts are fabulous!
I fall in love with Harucasting bjd s, always waiting for a new Insta posts, dreaming and planing, thinking which sculpt to order in future. Also recently discovered SoulDoll boys..wow, love their face sculpts, and also body look so nice on my opinion. Now trying to save money to make an order.
Doll Family-H is the big one for me most recently. I have two full dolls from them and just ordered their 68cm body because it's so stinkin' gorgeous and 100% the look I need for one of my boys. I love their resin quality and sturdy yet flexible posing and overall aesthetic. I'm very much looking forward to what they release in the future as well! Also Mystic Kids. Great resin, great posers, and I don't know...there's just something kind of magical about them. They are just so much more wonderful in person and very fun to just...handle and hold. I have plans to get 2 more bodies from them this year if finances allow. Small shoutout to Switch, who I've never looked twice at before until I became obsessed with Hwayeon and ever since then I keep seeing gorgeous Switch boys I never knew existed and I am very much taking a second look at them now.
I keep going and looking at the Granado sculpts a lot lately. I do have plans to save up and get one.
As of recent- DreamingDoll.. Not many people seem to have their dolls but I got my girl in only 1.5 months and she absolutely blew me away. I went with Lala B in "Yellow Normal" skin and she is so charming. She posing is fantastic and even the packaging was so lovely and thoughtful. Their website is actually so coherent and well laid out- payment was also very easy. I used PayPal's Payin4 feature. She was very well priced at $200 for standard MSD. She's with her faceup artist now and i can't wait until she's back!
I've been kind of obsessed with Dearmine. I love anthro dolls and their kitties come in every size, so cute! They have this scaling voodoo with their heads that make them look bigger than they are too. I love their dear pets and have been trolling the marketplace for some of the Picasso's to pop up
I currently can't stop looking into Telesthesia & Dragon boys and the muscular girl body from Impldoll! So many ideas for characters
