My danger companies are pretty consistent.... Dollzone and Dream Valley are both incredible to me and they were two of the three I've preordered from more than once, but I've been eyeballing Doll Chateau for a while now since I'm thinking of getting one from there some day, and Puyoo Doll has the award for most sculpts I own from the same company at three (two full dolls and a floating head)! I'd also like to add Shoushou doll because Cat Cocoa is undoubtedly among my grails!
I started with a Dollzone phase, then a Ringdoll phase, now I am on a Loong Soul phase. I have plans for three of the Loong Soul dolls this year, and I really hope I will be able to order them!
I just found Siso Doll. I don’t see many of them around and not on here at all. They fit the criteria for doll inclusion but I think I might be the only one talking about them, lol!
Coral Reef / Whale Island! ADVillage! MILO Doll! And most of all... XAGA Doll! I saw somebody post their unboxing for Birthday Cake... I looked at her page and saw Strawberry Shortcake and she's been a grail since! I had no idea so many doll companies were sculpting the cartoon-ier, cutesier dolls, pear-shaped dolls that I like so much! I already knew about XAGA and GEM but I never saw their cuter sculpts before, somehow? I was so surprised! In the time I've been away from the hobby a lot of new sculptors have popped up, too, and I think some bigger doll-makers are now supporting much smaller ones? I think GEM/MILO Doll is a good example. I have so many dolls on my wishlist, now, haha! It's a good feeling!
It's funny to come back one year later (oops, sorry), and my tastes have changed. Coral Reef dolls are gorgeous, but just too darn small. Impldoll will own my paycheck when they release an even bigger girl body. Surprise dark horse company: Miracle Doll. I now have 2 68 cm muscular female bodies. At first, I thought the necks were too big, but it turns out they are a fantastic hybrid option for Iplehouse EID and Soul Doll Vito boy heads. Who knew? I really enjoy how BIG they are, and I think the posing is pretty fantastic.
I've been into Xagadoll lately. I will order one next month or the one afte. They have so pretty bodies, specially the legs
Peak's Woods. Got my first doll from them and now I want another one haha. If only they weren't so expensive...
13 years into the hobby and I'm still amazed how many companies exist out there that I didn't know a thing of. ArgoDoll is no doubt one of them, gorgeous sculpts. I may get one head from them for my next doll project.
I feel you on that body! I have one of it, and it hybrids perfectly with Twigling heads, which is my danger company for sure! I’m already going “do I need another?” About it, which is the opposite of what anyone needs right now haha. speaking of which, my danger company has been Twigling since 2020. I own every head Reese has ever released, including the ones she has discontinued. I have multiples of ingenue, gamine and Eloy. I have plans for possibly another Pieta, and if my floating heads don’t sell, I’m gonna have to create characters for more floating Twigling heads. If I had the money, I’d have more of them on the Twigling body, but because I don’t, most of them are hybrids.
Doll Chateau make beautiful bodies. I would love to combine one of them with Coral Reef's Coraline, I believe both would work so beautifully. Also, not so recently but I have fallen in love with DoDollsDream's way of doing bodies. The faces are also beautiful, don't get me wrong - but those joints!
Xagadoll, Gem of doll, myou, so many pretty dolls!!!! Not enough funds!! I was checking out some of the Dolkjp collaboration dolls with myou, they have some really beautiful full sets but there's no way I could get them, so I'll just look from afar.
I’ve recently gone head-over-heels for Huisdoll and SolarWindDoll’s work. Just amazing creature designs and poseability.
I'm newly obsessed with Merrydollround- I love where she's heading with the bigger sizes. I already ordered the updated Fang and i'm a little scared i'm going to need all the upcoming MSDs too.
