1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Personally, I love both! Of course, it depends on the character of the doll and where they'd be found, though I think natural settings are harder to make work scale-wise. But there are things you just can't make in a diorama, such as a realistic outdoors setting, so I think each has its perks!

    2. I prefer natural settings over dioramas. I really like capturing the beauty of nature and life, with dolls.

    3. I love the dioramas, and have made a number of them. Most of my BJD's have bedrooms and they share a living and a dining room.
Since I rarely take pictures, they are basically for me and the dolls.

    4. I love natural settings more than diorama. They just fits to surroundings so well.

    5. I love both! I really like having nature as a background for pictures. And I like dioramas when it involves having furniture in the picture, but I don't have much room to have one in my room. So, natural settings will do for now.

    6. I like using natural settings and fabrics and sometimes even my dresses as backdrops for my doll photos. ^_^ I do like the look of dioramas too, though, and I love looking at other people's pictures that use dioramas a lot. :) It really does look nice. I think I would like one to use for photos for some tinies I plan to get eventually, but they're a bit out of my price range for the time being.
