Doll Family A Discussion - part 2

Thank you, I definitely will I've not seen any owner pictures at all but from the official pictures he looks perfect for my character (well technically two characters since I'll eventually get twins)

 

I love the new girl Ivy, think I might have to order her when I've saved up enough money. She is so beautiful! I have never ordered a Doll Family A doll before, are they nice dolls? What is the quality like? Thank you!

 

Can I just say... I ordered a full, 62cm doll on 19th September and it’s being delivered tomorrow. 56 days.

This is the fastest I have ever received a doll and I’m officially amazed.

I was shocked this day in age with 6 month+ wait times :O I'll definitely have to order from them again

 

OMG he just came in (at 7pm 8 days early too lol!) He's a big beautiful boy, I think tomorrow I might put my EID man body together again and compare the two and lol he came with the "happy" parts and the snake parts (my mom is visiting and was horrified lol) I'm gonna try to paint him tomorrow and maybe start getting him an outfit made. I do have to say he is the tightest strung doll I have ever handled or received in my 15 years in the hobby (and I like a tightly strung doll) to the point I was scared of breaking him when I put his head on (it was shipped in a smaller box inside the big box I'm guessing because he's too tall to fit in the box whole) and his hands on (he came with the paddles on). Here are the pictures I took tonight, will take more when he's more put together ^_^ I decided he'll be a ginger.

Congrats @Nefla !! He looks awesome! Can't wait to see more pics once you put him together ^_- You got him on the 70cm body did you? I'm still so undecided if I want to order my DF-A boy on the 70 or the 75cm body <_> Kind of gravitating towards 70cm though ^^

Yes I got him on the 70cm. I would have preferred him a little more slim like the 75 but I didn’t want him to be that tall. He currently fits normal 70cm boots which was a nice surprise since my iplehhouse boy is not even close to being able to!

 

@Nefla Congrats, he looks awesome! I would really love that body for my floating head, guess I need to start saving money >.<

Thank you very much for the comparison picture btw! I gotta say, I love the body more and more and I'm pretty much certain that I'll be going with the 70cm type as well ^_^

Would totally appreciate some opinions on the posability if you have some free time on your hands ^-^;

 

Thank you for your compliments I am really liking this body too, I was afraid it was going to be too muscular but I don't find it to be so. As far as posing, since he's such a thicc boi he's not going to be quite as flexible as a small and skinny doll and he only has one torso joint (under bust) so that limits poseability a little too. He is however double jointed in both elbows and knees and has mobility thigh joints, he sits and stands like a rock and holds his poses very well without sueding. I am very happy with it and will definitely buy from them again

 

Heya, I'm new to the thread, but I was wondering if anyone had ordered the new 68cm girl body? I'm curious about it as I am toying with sticking a DZ Chen head on it, and giving the current DZ body a DF-A Susu head instead as it matches the character better than the Chen. I don't want to sell the Chen head though, as I'd never be able to replace it, so I want to repurpose it. From the measurements, the head could fit on the Ivy body.

 

I’d also like to know more about this body. I want to replace my DT 18 yr body that will not stand for more than three seconds, even with wiring

my main question is: will it stay standing for longer than three seconds
