Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My wife does all the stringing, fortunately, and she always puts doll eyes in for me. I hate having to clean dolls though. Sometimes when I get a new doll it'll be covered in resin dust. I'm allergic to resin, so I always wash them right away. I use a toothbrush to get the crevices because every time I get a tan doll there are resin crystals between his toes! And I have one pale doll that gets black scuffs on his arms and legs regardless of what he wears or how he's handled. I don't know where that even comes from. :\

    2. I actually like stringing. What I can't stand--replacing head cap magnets! I'm always paranoid I'll glue them in upside down, and it's such a PAIN to fix! :)

    6. I don't mind re stringing or even putting in eyelashes, but I HATE seam sanding with the burning hatred of a thousand suns! Usually because I'm doing it outside in the heat & humidity while wearing a respirator strapped to my sweaty face and a pair of always-fogged-up safety goggles. There's only one doll that I had to sand (I bought her as a kit) and I just sanded her enough to loosely string her together.

    7. I stink at painting faces, so I don't do that myself... Of the things I DO handle, my least favorite has to be replacing eyelashes. That is just one massive Pain.In.The.Butt. >_<

    12. I have to agree with Hervoyel. I just had to clean my Pukifee's face up off because i'm getting her re-done and I can't for the life of me get it off her ears. So annoying!

    16. I hate restringing Littlefees. Most of the time I'm ok with restringing, not that I totally like it, but littlefees and bodies constructed similar just make me wanna scream (I have a littlefee made in 2008, not sure if construction has changed much sense then.). I just restrung my first littlefee ever and I can say it is not something I like to do. Also doll eyebrows...I can never seem to get them right, that's a part about faceups I do for dolls that I hate.

    17. ditto - before being Soomed I really really disliked restringing, many cos my 2nd/3rds were Luts and they have so many components and come really tightly strung... with Soom and constantly switching updating fantasy parts I have come to like restrings (not Luts though).

      Now it is having blank heads staring at me saying 'where is my face up' and I really dislike starting a faceup when (a) have no clear idea on the theme (b) have a theme and unsure where to start/carry it out to the specifications in my heads... so yes, faceups for me :)

    19. I hate doing eyebrows and getting them symmetrical. I think I'll give the next one a scar just so I don't have to make them match. I also HATE hot glue sueding because it entails disassembly and restringing. I can't ever get the glue quite right in those stupid joints, and while I don't burn my fingers (worked at Starbucks long enough to get burn calluses), the glue peels out or makes no difference on some dolls so it's a TOTAL WASTE OF EFFORT.

    20. Weirdly dressing, I have so many clothes and accessories it can honestly take me all day to do one doll and I have a fair few dolls. Should I put this dress on, this underwear, what stockings, what jewellery, which wig, what shoes..... It drives me mad.
