A few of us from the Ohio ABJD Group on Facebook are throwing a Doll Prom on April 27, 2019. Dress up your dolls in formal garb, enjoy some tasty desserts, and dance the night away! LOCATION We'll be partying at the Quirk Cultural Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, an old elementary school that has been converted to an ADA-accessible event space. There are hotels available nearby off Route 8 if you are coming in from out of town. DRESS CODE Like a high school prom, we have a black tie dress code - for your dolls! You may come as you wish, but make sure your dolls are fancied up in their best evening wear. Masks are encouraged for our theme, but not required. ACTIVITIES We'll have photo op stations for 1/6, 1/4, and 1/3 sized dolls (bring your camera!) and we're planning some fun contests like making a duct tape prom dress and decorating masquerade masks. And of course we'll name Kings and Queens of the Prom! There will be an area separate from the dolls with desserts for you to enjoy, and music and a dance floor if you feel like doing a little dancing yourself.
