RoseAnn, this may be a dumb question, but 'old' or 'new' barbie clothes? I have gobs of clothes from my childhood that were made for the older anatomically impossible barbie, but nothing featuring barbie's newer slightly more natural figure I am not even sure if there is a significant difference in clothes for the diff versions >.< Also, do we know if the tail is magnetic or attatched? My Bobo is an orig one and the tail is attatched-makes me sooo nervous about dropping her!
The tail is magnetic....and does detach fairly easily.....maybe a bit too easily to be honest....but fine nonetheless.... I used new Barbie things....I tried to find some things that were not too...ah....Barbie/slutty....pardon my frankness...but some of her latest fashions are not demure...for lack of another word...and my Miss Mousey is a sweet thing.... I have some older Barbie things....somewhere.... from my grown daughters' Barbies but I am not sure they would fit if they are smaller in the waist that the new Barbie outfits.
hum oh well i will just have to buy my incoming girly a new wardrobe! im glad her tail is magnetic-that attatched tail is just misery... im afraid to hanlde my little bobo >.< i ordered her yesterday, im already antsy for her to come home >.<
Ooh~I hope they start creating "Seniors" of the other anthro dolls. I would love to see Dalsoo or Bobo or Pepe or Shekal!! *wriggles*
I think a yo-size panda would be too cute >.< rose/fatcat, have either of you tried yo-size doll clothes on your bobos to see if they are too big for them? Im guessing they are but hey it was worth askign >.< ( A little lolita-dressed bobo girl would be too perfect)
I'm afraid she would swim in yo size clothes. I have tried some Barbie things on her and they work well except the length but my little girl arrived Friday with this wonderful dress and I thought she looked so GREAT, I gave her some sexy eyelashes. I recommend getting one straight from the company... you can see what I posted in their company feedback forum... I think they are great enough its worth giving them your patronage
Oh...I tried some Sugar Mag outfits on them and many are a pretty good fit and cute...but of course...need to be hemmed as they are too long also....
Yes...Sugar Mag makes things for Blythe....who is tall...like Barbie, but with a huge head...oddly enough, the outfits fit many other dolls..depending on the item...I look on ebay to see what is there.... of course...and with these anthro BJDs...the pants need to be shortened....but the shorts and skirts...even some of the dresses are not bad on the large Bobo and Victoria Piggy...actually...some of the pants and tops are even boyish enpough for Edward Piggy and large boy Bobo....you just have to look at them with the doll in mind.
Someone told me that re ment outfits fit on these large mice and pigs too....does any one know if this is true? I have never bought any of the Re ment clothes...
i didnt even know rement MADE clothes...! i was wondering, once it was shipped from the factory, how long did you guys wait for your bobos to come?
i got her monday (took me a while to post, huh?)! i LOVE her, hopefilly soon i can get her some nice clothes so she isnt nekkid... my little bobo is one of the first ones, where the tail is attatched by string/ball... this magnet tail thing is hard for me to get a hang of >.< i think her tail magnet is a bit weak, though mine's faceplate is very seciurely magnetized, the exact opposite of what someone else said they had... she is just great, her face is too precious for words!
I have an early bobo with the attached tail, and she sits delicately in one of my cabinets to avoid damage. I just ordered a new one - planning on leaving the tail on the shelf so I don't lose it. And will still have one to play with. And these guys are fantastic to do business with. I splurged on several a few weeks ago and they arrived today. When I first so the senior bobos, I just ignored them - they just looked like Bobo on bigger bodies. On my second pass, when I saw the bodies, they grew on me considerably. I like the fact the Mama bobo has boobs. It makes her more of a Mama mouse. Papa mouse should have had parts as well..... And I think we need mama Daisoo and some of the rest....
