@rubydoll, thanks for the tip about varnish! That sounds like a good strategy~
(They're velvety cloth, not nonporous. Maybe a light smudge of modpodge on the insides? Is that the general sort of varnish you used?)

Sorry no video, I know they're so awesome and exciting, but.. uhm.. I'll call it camera shyness.. I wanted to do a stopmotion or at least photostory of my dollies opening the bags to music, but my MSD was being SO uncooperative, I got impatient, gave up the photographing, and just did the thing myself.

I'm really happy with all these items, but if the right offer comes along, might be willing to trade 'em off.

(Ah, I just noticed that there is one more accessory, a plush muffler, that evaded photographing here and in my "haul" photos that I'll be posting in the trading thread. I saw that Julie M got the same pink dress + the muffler in her bag a couple days ago, if you care to see it there!

Ahh, this wig is SO soft and beautiful. There's a pin I attached on the far side of her wig too, a black bow with a pocketwatch and two stars on a chain. I love that item and will keep those two things for certain. The inner shirt is really nice in that I didn't have to remove her hands to dress her in it! But to apply the outer jacket I did have to, so.. The skirt, I would absolutely love in SD size. Or wouldn't mind the rest of the "School heart / School love" set in MSD. It's very clean-lined and cute looking.

@orangediscord, she has become very difficult to handle - doesn't stand for more than a few seconds, doesn't hold most poses I try anymore. It's very hard to remove her hands / feet for dressing compared to my other dolls, but her hands are rather open with fingers splayed, so that's frequently necessary, and.. I think a ridiculous but major factor is that she's suuper pretty (in my mind) and one of these days she's going to "flop" like she has been doing and get ruined.. I don't know how to fix her condition, it seems like the corners of her knee and elbow joints have worn down (I'm her 3rd owner, I think?) and just don't "catch" where they're supposed to. I'm really conflicted about the decision. I ordered this Fukubukuro for her hoping that maybe seeing her in some professional clothing might change my mind toward keeping her. All it has done is reassure me - I can still get excited about her, I'm very frustrated about dressing and shooting her in her condition, but then seeing the pretty results (I can't believe she's mine~) and that sad-puppy face, I know I'd regret her absence..

 

Thanks, she's actually got wires in her, but all it takes is for one joint to slide past its "latch" and the rest is just her own shifting weight taking her down. ><
Perhaps sueding and restringing will be worth a try.. she does "bite" though so I'm wary..

She's so cute and pathetic, all floppy and mismatch-dressed...but in high-end clothing.. how strange

 

I suspect the top and jacket were from the same set, because the material of the shirt is repeated in the collar of the jacket. I looked over the entire website (I think?) but only could find the skirt. All the rest of it is either buried deeper than I know where to find, or uh.. hmm..
Same with the yo bag! I found the boy's top as "Antwan" and the hat, all the rest of the items I was unable to find.

But yes, that seems to make up the large part of the outfit, so it goes pretty well together. The silly skirt throws it all off right in the middle though. And stripes with harlequin diamonds.. Hehehe, I do like it, I sure wouldn't have picked out such clothes on my own. It's addictive and tempting to try again, even. Now that I've looked over more of what's available on the site. Agh, maybe this is why their strategy works. They'll lose money on the practical sock-buyers, but make up for it in the long run by drawing in fresh-faced visitors like me

Aah!! Editing to say I somehow completely missed @Pamski's photos! Your dolls look so amazing all dressed up like that! I love so much the one on the right with white ballet dress, fingerless lace gloves and one black and one white stocking leg. They all look so ladylike, and the men all so.. regal..! Gosh, nice prizes. (Great novel collection also, so tidy *o* )

Just got refunded for my combined shipping of two orders and was notified that they will be shipped out later today!
Is it normal for them to increase the shipping cost though?
The total amount of items I ordered in the combined orders is the same as my last order two weeks back though :/
I think they're shipping the combined items in two boxes but as one shipment if you get what I mean..but oh well its just an additional $10...I can live with that!

 

@Lokinta The white dress is actually my favorite set. You got a good bunch yourself! I love fukubukuro items. For me it's the next best thing to getting a new bjd doll! Thanks for noticing my manga collection. They actually got me into bjds. As of the moment, that's the spot where my dolls hang out.

Lol okay I will try to break it down:
Two weeks ago i ordered 4 bags in one order and was charged a standard shipping cost.
Now I have two new orders which i requested for combined shipping and its the exact same type of 4 bags.
But since its a combined shipping of two orders they're charging me extra this time.
Which is odd cause they managed to stuff all 4 bags in one DH box the last time.

I'm just gonna imagine that I have a really huge heavy item in one of the bags and that's why I have to pay more.
My speculation is getting the better of me but I actually like the idea of that

 

I just ordered five bags myself XD Two SD13 bags, two MSD sized, and one for my mother's 70 cm boy. Hoping for some good items!
