Dollheart Fukubukuro Thoughts?

I'm with you on this one, a lot of the things do seem like Dollheart's stock clearance but there have been good things in them, some bags seem to have better co-ordinated outfits than others. I got 5 bags in total, 2 as a gift and 3 myself, the items I bought to qualify was full outfits and outfit pieces from D2 range that I've been meaning to buy.

One of my best friends got me 2 bags + an item for Christmas, SD13 boy and SD10/13 girl along with an order of a Yo-SD vest and a Yo-SD outfit for a friend of ours. The stuff have been wrapped and bundled away for Christmas so no new photos, she allowed me to look through and take out the things I don't want to put up to trade.

SD13 - BOY

Also had accessories and a wig, I got the tie from Silence, a choker? and belt thing with a mohair wig too.Overall the SD13 boy bag was good, though I don't think any of the items really went together, but mostly usable pieces for my range of boys.

SD10/13 - GIRL

Cute stuff but not really my style, most things from the Bloody Alice outfit, I don't have a photo of the skirt as that was given to my friend as she wanted it. The shoes don't really go.

I then bought myself 3 bags with 2 orders as I needed new clothes for my new mini girl, ordered with Cherry Classic outfit, another MSD dress and Yo-SD shorts.

MSD

Mostly boy stuff, I only have a mini girl, so nothing par the blouse was usable, again everything matched apart from the blue and black boots.

Yo-SD

All girl stuff and I only have a yo-SD boy, so nothing was usable, came with a fluffy neck piece that I kept. Otherwise everything seemed to go okay par the red and black skirt.

SD10/13 - GIRL

My favourite bag from Dollheart, the only time they ever gave me pink and white clothing. I changed the flower and added pearls to the dress. It's the over dress and over skirt from Mary, Hat is from Natalie.

Overall verdict. The SD13 boy bags are the best for me, although mainly as I have a few boys with different styles, but with only one SD girl, one mini girl and one tiny boy. So the mixed gender ones haven't been very good for me. The girl bag is so-so but I have very specific colour themes for her but the items in both bags do make an outfit.

I was hoping with two bags to get a mix, but it's all very, very girly. I did find that a good portion of these two bags suited my girls, though. Sadly, the brown shoes in the second bag don't actually fit my girls (they're slim minis, but this stuff worked for them), so they'll be traded out, but surprisingly the heels (which I was planning to trade) fit and suit the girl I was going to give the flats to, so she did come out of the deal with footwear, at least!

And the girls with the items they've adopted. Emilia (left) got the blue decorated blouse and the heels, Winry (right) the shirt and overalls from the first bag, and Razzy (middle), having an MSD-sized bottom, got the Alice skirt and bag (though I'll have to find or make her a better-suited top). I've got the cat ears on Winry, too, since I can kind of see her wearing them, but with her long fingers the matching paws wouldn't go on. She does have "cat hands" that, hilariously, would likely fit the paws perfectly, so she may go to a convention with the set on at some point in the future!

After unwrapping that purple cape thing, the heels, the wig and the shirt, I was kind of starting to doubt this was actually a "boy" bag. I knew both pants and the red shirt were going to be keepers, and I was hoping on the white and brown boots (but they're WAY too big for CP Delf feet), and not sure on most of the rest until I started dressing the boys...

Ed kept trying to fall over, so this is the best shot of them... the rest are "action shots" as he toppled over or as I dropped the phone trying to catch him. I did manage an outfit for each that suits them, and I ended up liking the black and red coat once I put it on Ed (same with the funky blue shirt when it got on Jace). So there's definitely some keeper stuff here, too!

The shoes though... they're like clown shoes compared to their feet:

I'm overall pretty pleased with what I got here, since I managed some keepers, and I'm hopeful for some good trades, too! (The stuff I want to trade is already posted out to the swap thread.) Sadly, I don't know what any of this stuff is actually called, but I'll hopefully still be able to work out some trading.

 

My second set of bags finally arrived today. After opening the box, I can only say that it looks like DollHeart is having to dig deep in the warehouse to fill bags. This is the MSD bag:


Cute dress and lovely lace trimmed petticoat.I thought the dress might be from one of the Mystic Circus outfits, but couldn't find this exact one on the site. The wig must have had ribbons at one time, but it wouldn't be hard to add new ones. The coat is WAY too big for my slim girls -- would probably fit a Volks or something similar. The hat is just sweet. It has ribbon ties. I'm torn on the boots. I have a pair already (they belong to my Islandoll Wallis) but these could go to one of my msd guys.



And this is the YoSd bag. The dress could not be found on the site, but it's adorable. Came with the necklace, petticoat, and lace cuffs. I'm keeping the little bob wig , as I'm thinging of getting another doll in this size, but I already have a pair of the boots, so they'll be up for trade.

 

Well, I was able to pick up my fukus today. I'm so happy with everything.

Here's my boys wearing some of the clothes I got. Seth (the SD in the center) is only wearing the wig and holdilng the bow and socks from the fukubukuro. The rest of his outfit was bought at a different time and the Cheshire jr. has a shirt from his outfit. Other than those, everything is from the fukubukuro.

 

I woke up to the surprise that my Fukubukuro had shipped this morning! (I placed my order on Sunday.) I only got one in MSD size, but now I think I should have gone for more. Either way, I'm excited for it to get here.

 

yeah the shoe thing is a known thing, I kept the little bit of paper in the shoe so it would not fall off.
same thing with the wigs. a yo-SD wig can be worn by MSD and the MSD wigs can be worn by small SD heads

 

That's good to know about the shoes, in case I order any in the future! I'll keep that in mind about the wigs, too, though I'm particular about wigs, and only kept one for an unforeseeable future when I order two new SD boys and only have one spare SD wig.

 

Thanks to everyone posting your photos! I've really enjoyed all the videos too! Looks like people are getting some very cool things! Your photos and videos are really tempting me!!

 

Here are actually my girls in their outfits.
the MSD girl is wearing a skirt/pants thingie that Im not really sure about if I want to keep it.
I traded something else for a skirt that I think will look better in this combination and when it does, it will go up for trade too.

 

That wig is so so so SO pretty, Cynth! She's looking good. I might have some shoes you'd like from the bags I received today!

As I said, my order came in today. One outfit + bag and a pair of socks + bag, all MSD sized. It was a tiny letdown that both bags contained an item from the outfit I bought, now I have doubles, haha! But it's okay. Some girly stuff I won't use, but there are items I'm happy with so it's all good.

I like the shorts and hat. The belt also came with the outfit I bought, so it's a double. The shoes are awesome, but will go to one of my dolly friends.

Hat also came with the outfit, so it's a double. Same shoes, different colour, haha! I like the scarf. I'm not sure what the blue ruffle thing is, it seems too small for a neck. And the golden skull thing might be an eyepatch? The wig has a lovely colour, it's really pretty lavender.

And even though it's not from the fuku bags, this is the outfit I bought, it's so pretty!



And we should maybe ask Dollheart to do tiny fuku bags next year! Look at that stunning outfit!

I love this package much more then the last one! I got so much great stuff. There is some that I don’t like, like the summer/hobo skirt, the brown sandals and the sd boots?. I got two white/mint coats. I don’t know if I will trade/sell one of them or keep them. And I loooove the high heel shoes that I have been looking at on the homepage.(I could never buy them becouse they are to big/expensive)
I like that I got a harry potter scarf and the mint skirt is to die for. So much stuff

just got the bags I went in on with a friend and am feeling kinda meh. the items are mostly nice, just not much I can use. the msd bag was a real bummer since it was boy stuff again (the last couple years nothing but boy stuff!) and the "main" item was a Harry Potter school coat/robe. o_O it's all jumbled now but I'll try to remember what came in each bag for pics later.

*note - and yet I'm tempted to buy more after seeing everyone elses stuff! *facepalm*
