Dollheart Fukubukuro Thoughts?

I'd love to see your SD bags @Saphariel !

With regards to DH shipping, I think they ship out all orders in one go, and my previous order was shipped out on a Wednesday(HK time), so I'm hoping its the same again this time round

 

I ordered a YoSD bag and an SD13 boy bag, can't wait to see what's in them As for the wigs, DollHeart sizes are always huge (my SD Supia girl is wearing the one I got in my MSD bag two years ago) but I do like the styles. It seems like people get disappointed with the YoSD bags because they're mixed boy/girl? I don't really mind that, my girls are tomboys anyway, so fingers crossed I get some nice stuff...

 

I've been buying Fuku for several years (skipped last year tho) and this year is no different! I cant let such a good deal go to waste! Initially I bought 5 SD13 boys bags but then I ordered another 3 SD13 boys bags and 2 YoSD bags. Depending on what I get, I may order again! I'm really addicted to them. I told DollHeart to combine shipping for both orders, but I'm not sure if they'll do it or not.

I really can't wait to see what's in my SD13 bags! This is my first time getting SD bags since I have 3 SD boys now and I need to fill up their wardrobe. From what I've seen over the years, SD tends to get the best items, MSD and YoSD are hit-or-miss. I've been getting MSD fuku for the last couple of years and I'm not very impressed (which is why I skipped last year) I'm not really holding high hopes for the YoSD bags, but anything will do since my YoSD doesnt have much clothes!

 

These were my SD bags from last year. I think I'm pleased with them compared to the MSD and Yo-SD bags because they contained all the components for a complete outfit and they LOOKED mostly like complete outfits. The wig on the boy on the left did not come with it. The wig is EDIT: in my next post.



Two years ago, I got the entire Greedy Man (pirate) outfit between my two fukubukuro, so that was a fantastic year.

This is one of many strange or just awful wigs I've gotten from DollHeart fukubukuro, and it came with the boy's outfit above. It is by no means the worst. I don't understand the series of parallel cuts. Perhaps I just don't appreciate the aesthetic, but it makes him look like a choir boy. Out of seven or eight mystery bags, I've gotten two wigs that were decent. Anyone else have good wig experiences?

 

Not the best picture of the wig, but my Supia Eunice is wearing the wig from my MSD fuku that I got two years ago, and I absolutely love it on her. It had quite a lot of styling product in it originally, but some combing fixed that.

 

I got this wig a couple of years ago... It wasn't a style any of my own girls would wear, but it was still a nice wig quality-wise.



It doesn't look like much just sitting there, but it was a fluffy "Alice" wig with a blue head-band/bow sort-of affair.

 

I've placed an order for four bags,now in the waiting time, I hope it isn't took too long!

 

Bought 2 70cm bags exactly one week ago, and they arrived yesterday night. These were the best bags I have ever received!




I got:
- The tailcoat, shirt, cape, and super roughed up cravat from "The Phantom of the Opera"
- The vest, belt, and pants from "Kory" [after having gotten the shirt two years ago, yay!]
- The pants, socks (not pictured, oops), and satchel from "Grayson"
- The coat, bowtie, and waistcoat from "School Day - Tyson"
- The hat and chain decoration from "Mikel"
- Two sets of lolariously huge boots
- Two of the same 7''~8'' wig posted by Saphariel in white and blond.
- And a really, really nice iridescent brown mystery hat with white dried flowers and feathers that was crushed to bits but completely salvageable.

Though it's worth noting many, if not all, of my pieces miiiight have been factory rejects. For instance, all the pieces reeked of mold and mildew, and the School Days set was especially shabby. The bowtie is super hilariously asymmetrical, the back of the waistcoat had a big hole in the seam along the back, and the coat was missing half of its front closure so I had to sew my own closure loop.

In spite of that, I bought two more just now, haha.

I have my fingers hugely crossed for at least one of coats to give me a complete Kory and Grayson set, and dang do I ever want that waistcoat from Phantom of the Opera. @w@;;

I've had a few problems with the Dollheart site since reading this thread. Items kept appearing in my basket and before I knew it I'd paid for two sets of socks, a pair of shoes and three more bags. I just don't know how it happened, must be gremlins or something. I ordered two more SD bags, one boy, one girl and I'm taking a gamble on a yo-sd bag because I have a yo boy who doesn't have much to wear and a yo girl on the way who has even less. They're skinnier than DH's measurements though so it's possible nothing will fit. But if not, then I can always trade or sell. I'm sure it'll be worth it just for the shoes.

Concerning the wigs, yeah, I got that weird choirboy bob cut one in a boy bag too. Looks pretty fab on my girl though! And at least I got a wig, my first boy bag didn't have one. In my girl bags I got a curly pigtailed one that's a bit loli for my taste but my niece loves it and in the other I got a long white wig which was nice but not one I'd use so I traded with @orangediscord for a black one with two buns which I really like, though it hasn't become anyone's default wig.

I'm really hoping for some steampunk goggles. Steampunk anything, really. Which means I've probably jinxed myself and I will get girly and floral - and that's just in the boy bag! I'll be back with the verdict when my stuff arrives. In the meantime, keep posting pics and vids!

 

I've been informed that if anyone wants to start swapping again, they can open a new Fuku swap thread in place of the closed one.

 

Come on, shipping notices! Although the thought of getting a bunch of moldy factory rejects is a little worrisome.

I'm guessing that choirboy wig wasn't a best seller.
