My Alexia arrived last wednesday but I've been away from a computer for a few days so allow me to now introduce Rex, my Alexia! I must say I have never been so in love with a doll! She really is all that I expected and more. Her resin and sculpting is amazing and she poses better then some double jointed dolls I've had in the past. I also love her size, as I find that most msd dolls are too thin for my liking but sd's are too leggy, Alexia is just right. I love her so much! avrilpaeony -congrats on ordering your Alexia you will love her!
She is amazingly lovely and one of my favorites too. Beautiful! Welcome, Rex, great to see you here amongst all the others.
And are so easy to spoil....and so nice to spoil too. Just the right size to be packed in a suitcase as a perfect travel companion.
My Alexia shipped today, probably the worst possible time of year but hey ho, she will get here eventually. Maybe customs will be so busy she might slip through without them noticing - can dream anyway.
She's worth the wait, but with you, I hope she just slips through customs, as long as they nod respectfully to her...Congratulations, she's fabulous!
Congratulations, avrilpaeony! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Um, I had a Narae arrive around the same time two years ago and she was even marked as a gift (plausible, no?), but customs still presented me with a 100 euro bill... They are heartless ! Let's hope you just get lucky.
Yay! congrats! I hope she arrives really fast for you I really love my Alexia, she is such a fun size, and she feels so sturdy. She just feels good to hold.
Well I can hardly believe it but Alexia is here already, just a week and if you knock off the holidays that is only about 5 days, fastest ever. I kept checking the tracking number and it didn't work so assumed she was stuck somewhere but the postie has just delivered her, no customs charge or anything. Lots of nice little freebies including a 2015 calendar and some shoes, will take photos later (painting dining room at the moment).
How cool is that? Congratulations! You'll love her! What a great way in which to end the year, with one of the most beautiful dolls, ever!
Photo of Perronelle, really love her little face, keep carrying her around the house with me so I can look at her which I never do with the SDs as they are too big and heavy. I started off with an MSD then moved up a size and sold all my MSD clothes, shoes etc, wish I hadn't now. She is wearing a mohair wig I made for my DIM, she was intended to have dark hair but the Dollmore wig is a bit small and won't stay on so they have done a swap.
She is gorgeous! don't beat yourself up about having sold MSD clothes-she wouldn't fit most anyway. Sweaters and stretchy things yes, but anything form fitting, stockings, etc, shoes, nope. Congratulations, isn't she the best best?
avrilpaeony congratulations on adding Perronelle to your family! She is lovely and looks great in that sweater and skirt you have her in (love the bear too!) . Did you make it?
Congrats new Alexia owners! My Penda loves to keep me company while I work. She's small enough not to get in the way. I love this wig on her it's so bright and fun! Penda Pentagon by designbasia, on Flickr
