1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollmore Banji What Clothes, Wigs and eyes fit?

Jan 26, 2006

    1. The link is in original post - click on Tiny Custom stiches.

    2. I have seen so many clothes for MSD and I wonder if they would fit the banji I have ordered? What are some other clothes that would fit my Banji? I wish they would make more banji sized clothes since my banji girl is so cute. :)

My banji girl is a Sweet Dew and I think she is more into the gothic and dark clothes...I wish I could find an Emily the Strange shirt or clothes for her. Many, many thanks in advance. :)

    3. no way @.@ my banji fits in the palm of my hand. kelly clothes, bratz baby clothes fit however ^.^

    4. Margarita (id Margarita_Rosa) also makes clothes for Banji (see the marketplace), and Banji can fit in Barbie Mini Princess gowns (though you often need to remove or modify the sleeves). I think she also fits in Bratz Babyz clothes (but not Bratz Kidz).

There's a thread about clothes that fit Banjis here:

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44084

For shoes, I know she fits in Tiny Betsy McCall shoes.

In addition she's small enough to wear cute clothes made from fabric laces and trims.

    5. Thanks guys. :) I will definitely give the thread a look see. ;)

    6. I found out that my Banji can wear Dawn fashion clothes. I found Dawn and her clothes at Kaybee toystore. I cannot find anything online though about the recent Dawn...only the vintage 70's version.

I would love to find more of Dawn's clothes especially her dresses would be cute on my banji. Does anyone have any links or know of any other stores that have the current Dawn and her clothes?

I tried amazon.com and kaybee.com and even toysRus.com and nothing..and e-bay only has the old dawn version. Apparently Hong Kong makes Dawn. Does anyone know of any websites for Dawn or Hong Kong toys or collectible that I have missed?

      Many thanks in advance!! :)

    7. I'm expecting my little Banji girl, Emerald, to come home any day now (Yay!). I've got a pair of Betsy McCall shoes for her, and I'm sure they'll suffice. But I'm looking for a pair of boots, preferably lace up, and hopefully knee high (preferential in that order) that will fit her. I've looked EVERYWHERE. I've been scouring the net for the past four hours. WHERE in the world can I find a pair of boots that will fit Banji? Her shoe size is 24mm....if anyone has any leads, any hints, any tips, any sites, Please please please let me know.

      Thanks!

she has them in white too :)

They may be a little Big for Banji ...but OK with socks (my boy wears the Blythe Boots )
I will try them on him and get back to you

....if this site goes any slower today ! Im having real problems again

    9. Thanks you guys! This was really driving me nuts. I can rest easy now knowing They DO exist.

    10. The recent Dawns were made by Checkerboard Toys (as opposed to 70s Dawn, which was made by Topper), which went out of business a couple of years ago. Try doing a search on eBay for "Checkerboard Dawn" or searching for "Checkerboard" within the Dawn category. A few pieces show up every now & then.

    11. Thanks, I will give it a try. :)

    12. I found nothing on the current Dawn online..but I DID go to the big KB toys and found a bigger section of Dawn dolls and clothes. :) So I bought as many as I wanted and am glad I did. Some of the pants and skirts did not fit as well and I will use a pin to keep them on.

I even trimmed some of the tops and the jean jacket so her hands could fit more easily. Then I used fray check on them so they won't unravel. I will post pics of Deirdre in her clothes when I get them developed. :)

    13. Check Kay-Bee toys for Checkerboard Dawn outfits - that's where I found a bunch. And this woman on Ebay makes some cute Banji outfits..

Here are Elfdolls in a couple of modern Dawn gowns by another Dawn clothes maker - http://www.janetsdolls.com

These may be more tightly fitted than the Checkerboard brand stuff. I will try them on Banji and see how they fit. The full length gown on the right is too long on a Elfdoll but could be hemmed. And the bodice is gapping because I need to add a tying halter strap rather than the Dawn head size halter loop it came with. Also I think Elfdoll is shorter waisted than Dawn. The 50's style gown on the left is short enough and the bodice style works too. The 50's gown came with the hat, little lace mitts, and a clutch purse (purse not shown).

EDIT - I tried these gowns on Banji and they will not close in the back - Banji has a bigger waist.

    14. My banji fits into Starr Model Agency doll clothes. They are mostly fancy dress outfits, but she does look good in them.

    15. Bump...

would Licca-chan/Blythe clothes be un-fixably big?

    16. I found Kelly underwear fits my banji and looks cute. I did get some Dawn clothes. I had to trim some of the sleeves at the hem so her hands could go through. A few of the skirts did not fit without using a safety pin or cropping them. But I put fray check on them and the pants I cropped and they look cute on her. Especially the plaid skirt and matching shirt, they were too cute! :D

A few Kelly tops that fit her are cute very tiny tops for hot weather. I used a bratz knockoff top with the sleeves cut off as a cute pajamas. Oh and I found a few non trashy skirt and shirt sets for bratz for my banji too so she is happy with the clothes she has. :)

I thought at first I would keep my girl banji sweet dew in gothic clothes, but the cute dawn clothes and other stuff was too cute to pass up. :) Funny how that happens. :D

    17. Licca and Blythe outfits are too big for Banji.
I can take a couple of pics comparing Blythe and Banji body, if someone is interested.

    18. I would be interested ^-^

Do you think Licca/Blythe outfits could be altered to fit? or is it hugely too big?
