Dollmore Banji What Clothes, Wigs and eyes fit?

Jan 26, 2006

    1. Too rainy today to take good photos...
They can be altered, but I think that WinX ( or witch 13 cm) dolls will fit better.
I can adjiust blythe clothes to my CF kit, but I've really never tried with banji.
Tomorrow will be an experimental day :D

If they can be adjiusted there are tons of lovely sugarmag outfits!

    2. This reminds me I need to get back to work on getting more doll shoes right - I was thinking loafers for Souldoll little and banji and getting my MJ's and boots right. Too many shoes are on my list.

    3. Taken photos ( not good, today is rainy)

Witch dollies similar to wynx ... they have a lot of modern outfits, but aren't sold alone ( only with doll- 10 euros)

WTG flat shoes- fits perfectly (only flats! other WTG shoes are big)

Blythe soft plastic original shoes( love mission ones)- fits nice

I think all custom blythe shoes will fit, i will try to buy some from this:
(link to another forum...i don't know if it's legit but this seller has no webshop) http://thisisblythe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=50638

    4. thanks for posting those pics! The comparison pic is very useful, I can tell what would fit Banji more easily ^-^

that's good news about Blythe shoes fitting!

Banji is even smaller than I thought, so cute!

    5. Thanks for the tip about Bratz Babyz outfits, and that one bigger Bratz outfit, I've done some searching on eBay (I want to get some new clothes for Valentina, indeed the rest of my gang, they've been a bit neglected while we moved etc.). I actually have another Bratz outfit set that I bought for Violet, my Uyoo, thinking it would fit her, that I will try on Valentina, after all, she is her little sister :-)

    6. Ya ive never seen thouse winx outfits and i work at toys r us ^^ and ive never seen the second and last bratz outfits eather o.0

    7. I get stuff like that on Ebay. You can usually find them. You might have to wait for a reasonable price though.

    8. I saw tiny-sized Little Apple Dolls at Hot Topic this weekend . . . about 5" tall with steal-able clothing :D Lots of little kimonos and such. I haven't even seen a Banji in person, but judging from proportions, I thought maybe these clothes would fit? Does anyone know?

    9. I hadn't heard of them before, but checking on Google, the minis are only about 4" tall, whereas Elf Elly/Banji is 5.7 inches. I measured my Banji's waist and it is two inches in diameter. I have been hoping that she could fit Mini Pullip clothing (I love the goth/punk clothes in that series), but I don't want to pay all that money to find they don't fit!

      Liz

    10. Ah- so they are a little shorter, but these dolls just had such loose clothing that I think they might wrap around a Banji but be a little short on the leg and arms . . . hmm . . . I guess I could be a better judge of such things once I actually own a Banji. The dolls were $10 but I would go ahead and buy one or two if the outfits would fit.

    11. bumping this because I'm going to recieve mine soon and wanted to know if anyone found anything in the last few months. <3

    12. I am still using mostly Kelly/Tommy clothes and 'official' Elf Elly clothing for my two little guys. The Kelly/Tommy stuff usually fits pretty well but you won't get long pants, only long shorts. The green outfit on the right is a Tommy outfit. The outfit on the left came from two separate lots of clothing I got on eBay from two different sellers. I thought the shirt probably went with the pants so I put them together.

The sandals are also Kelly/Tommy. I have found these to be the only K/T shoes that fit okay.

    13. I've always loved your little boys and those outfits do look cute on them. I can't wait for mine to get home. <3

    14. Nobody seems to have posted pictures, but I found the vintage Topper Dawn and also Palitoy Pippa dolls clothes fit rather well. Sadly my Banji is a boy, so here he is looking grumpy in some pretty frocks:

This one is one I made from a Dawn pattern on the internet:

Here is a Pippa dress, the sleeves are a good length:

Here is another. So cute! It also comes with a matching hat, which was a bit too small but could probably be adjusted:

Halo thinks this shirt makes him look like Mr Darcy:

You'll be wanting to aim for the mini/mid length frocks for Banji as the maxi lengths are a bit long (unless you want to take them up). Same for pants, which do fit around the waist - a bit tight in the crotch area for boys unless you're going for that Bowie in Labyrinth look(!). The arm lengths and overall fit are pretty good. Watch out for tighter sleeves as they are a bit of a squeeze over Banji's hands.

I have so many nice Pippa frocks (I used to collect them), 'tis a shame Halo is a boy. The Pippa frocks will mostly be 70s in style (yes, there are nice ones!). They are nice as they're not as 'grown up' as Dawn fashions.

Here is the link to the Dawn patterns:

The pictures on the main page no longer seem to be working, but the PDF patterns are all there.

    15. Oh cool! - I had read somewhere that the Pippa waist was too small for Banji, but that sun dress is adorable!

    16. Hey - any chance you'd be willing to sell these two? My little Door IS a girl and these are adorable!

    17. I downloaded the patterns, but I can't see the one for the sundress and bag.

    18. Oh, that is a vintage Pippa outfit. There aren't any patterns around.

    19. Boy and Girl Bratz "KIDZ" size pants fit super~~great length !! (the tops fit perfectly also, but most continue to have bare midriffs like the babyz size and teen size bratz) grrrr :(

This next Bratz 'KIDZ' size outfit is adorable but again....bare midriff. But there is something really neat about the slippers she is wearing--from a baby bratz outfit. The band that goes over the toes is soft and flexible. It clamps onto her toes! They help her to stand!! The rest of that outfit was...well...immoral! 0_0

And these skates are super old barbie skates! So dig in your kids stuff !! lol
This outfit is either a Barbie or a Kelly outfit. :)
