Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       I didn't see any green on the doll, so I wasn't sure why "vert" was in the name, or what made her more "vert" than another doll. Actually there are two more of these catish (cat-like? because there are also "catish" dolls that don't have any feline features /soconfused) with "vert" in their names that lack any green in their composition.

      Very curious!

    4. Well, the mangaka (manga creator) is a fan of his, and she's said that she did it to honor him. :3nodding: And since I'm SUCH a huge Gravitation fan and her character and I have SO much in common, well....;)

      I can't wait to see yours too, but I too was confused as to why your sculpt was also named "green" with no green on her. *shrug*

      I think the non-cat Catish dolls were originally made to look feline, thus their classification as a Catish.

      Kitty Blue, I wanted to tell you I watched some of your Catish unboxing videos. They were super interesting! It was nice to see you and meet the cat ladies, too!

      Your tattoo reminds me of "Alien Nation." I mean that as a compliment!

      In other news...

      I was looking at the "Fabric Friends and Dolls" website, and I saw that they are a Dollmore dealer, so... I had a look at what they were offering and found this...listed as a Mint Sherbet Reaa!

      Because her eyes don't match the stock Mint Sherbet Reaa's, nor her outfit, I inquired. It turns out this was the floor model doll for Dollmore at a show, and the lady at FF&D bought it to sell.

      I should have her here by the end of the week!

    10. nope, they are the same style of shoes but I got them somewhere on ebay can't recall the shop name. I have some that are made for the 22" American model dolls as well that fit nice on these girls and my Resinsouls. Vionnet is wearing a pair in this photo.

      I wanted too to give a try at shoemaking (I already have some cork sheets and faux leather) but never had enough free time -_- Anyway, we can start a "What fits" thread for clothing in general and not only shoes, I think it will be more practical!

    15. Well, I've got good news and bad news.
      The good news is that the doll arrived in one piece, unbroken.
      The bad news is that the only part of the doll that fits the "Dollmore Catish Mint Sherbet Reaa" is her head sculpt, face up, and wig.
      The vendor (Fabric Friends and Dolls) and I spoke about this ahead of time - and based on our conversation I knew that the doll had different eyes and clothes, but that her wig and face up were the same.
      I was not expecting her to be on a completely different doll body.

      The kicker is that part of me was thinking "I should take a video of the unboxing, not just photos," but I felt that that was a bit extreme. I mean, yes, it's an exciting thing, and I like watching the occasional unboxing video, but I didn't feel that I was "a big enough of a doll person" to take a video. I mean, I just got into dolls, and I'm excited, but I didn't feel like I needed to document unboxing my first doll for posterity. I just wanted to get to the doll, haha!

      It occurred to me that maybe I should video it "in case something went wrong" but I really didn't expect there to be any problems. So.
      (and I'm sorry if the links don't work, I'm literally packing for a trip today and don't have time to do doll thinggsss uuughhh)

    16. Personally I would just return the doll,if she will accept a return, especially since i'm sure you paid a bit for her and she was listed incorrectly. Hope everything works out.

    20. nothing against FF&D I've ordered through them before and they are fabulous, but I would assume that if your selling a particular doll brand, especially since it is not a full set like it originally was you'd be more diligent about what the doll should look like(ie body). Really hope everything works out for you. Dollmore is really a great company and they have always been super nice when I had issues with my catish. :)
