    1. Hi,

      I'm new to,this discussion. Just ordered the new Reaa White Rose. Don't tell me I'll have to wait two months before she arrives. I took one look at her picture and was a goner. ????

      Interested in the discussion on posing and sueding. Posing can be a problem with Dollmore dolls. Hope my new Reaa will pose properly.

      It says earlier in the discussion that she has a Kid girl body, but her measurements are much more voluptuous. More a Judith or an Alex. Has anyone bought any clothes for her? If so, what sort?

      I have an Apricot Sherbet Reaa, white skin, and though her body is really well engineered the resin is so smooth that I have great difficulties in made her keep a pose (unless she's laying on the floor or leaning on a wall). I hope to manage to hot glue suede her soon...
      The Reea you saw earlier in the discussion, the one with the Kid girl body, was an exception: all the Reaa, or at least all whom I know about, have the Judith girl body, that's taller and more curvaceous than a lot of other Slim MSD ones. I sew all the clothing by myself for my Reaa (only her fullset dress was already made), but Dollmore offer the possibility to order all their MSD clothing in Judith size.

    3. Thank you. I had looked at their other dolls, mostly checking out the bustline. Judith and Alex bodies looked like possibilities, though there wasn't much in the clothes line for them.

      As some one already mentioned, even in the pictures of the doll, the shoes look much too big.

      I bought this doll on impulse because of the face, but am not too enthusiastic about the body. A cat with big boobs and hips? Big belly, yes.

Sorry for the nudity but I forgot someone was inquiring about the size difference in the Catish girl and boy.. flat footed the girl would be the same height as the boy, but with her heel feet you can see she is much taller...and well much more mature than the boy..lol. I may make him my black catish girl's little brother or something. I contemplated getting the dark grey girl as well but they are the same heads so I didn't really want to have 2 of the same color sculpts. I'm really curious what some of the other Kitty boys look like next to the catish girls...like Dune from Dearmine or the Pipos boy. If anyone has photos of them with a Catish Girl I'd love to see photos.

    5. Hi,
      I have a question about my Russian Catish boy's wig.

      It seems like the ear slits aren't big enough, it won't go all the way down on his ears so that his whole ears show.

      It will only go about half way, and I can't get it to go down any farther.

      There doesn't seem to be any give or stretch to the slits.

      I've tried several times to firmly push it or pull it down over the ears, and it just won't budge.

      I haven't tried to really force down over the ears for fear of damaging the wig.

      Has anyone had a similar problem with their Catish dolls wig? If so how did you solve it?

      I thought about using an Exacto knife to try and make the slits a bit longer, do you think this might work without damaging his wig?

      Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I would really like his lovely full ears to show, not just two little tips.

    6. JRyu my Apricot Sherbet wig fits perfectly, but I had to make holes in two other wigs because my Reaa doesn't wear her stock one (and I love to have her changing hairstyle). If you cut in the net cap it will not unravel, but you don't have to cut the hair wefts. If you need to cut the wefts is better to unsew them, cut in the net part and then resew the wefts in their new position.

    7. I've found on mine that the slits are not long enough either..I haven't had a chance to alter them as my catish boy's wig went to another cat doll of mine and my black reea has a different wig now that I cut holes into. I'd have to take a closer look at mine but what Mitis said is the best way to alter. the other problem I have is the head cap coming off anytime I move my mink girl around...the weight of that long wig I assume..lol

    8. I have the same issue with the wig. I decided to leave it alone for now. Here is Bettie Page's pic from the Catish database, and as you can see, her wig only goes about halfway down. I think its the way the wig is made. :pout:

    15. I'm so glad you all like her! :) I took a length of thin gauge wire and folded the ends over, so it wouldn't poke through the faux fur. I ended up using thin faux fur from an old pair of gloves, since the regular type used for stuffed animals has a thick, stiffer backing and was a little too long for me. Then I folded the raw edges inward around the wire so it formed a tube and hand stitched it closed. I was hoping I could have it attach with a magnet, but the inside of her torso doesn't have much room, so it's just pinned under her dress currently, until I can figure something else out. Hope that helps!

    16. very cute...I have still yet to make my Catish girls and boy their tails yet...too many projects on all burners..lol. For my other bjd kitty/animal characters I use just a tiny safety pin with their fur tails..so I don't have to carve in their body to attach a magnet.

      My Lalasweet just arrived the other day and she lives up to her name - she's very sweet looking and I'd love to make her a tail, too, one of these days. I'll try to take a pic this weekend to share.

      @Dream_of_Isis: Lulu looks great with her tail! I wanted to do a tail for Dahlia since ages, but I never found a furry fabric soft enough. I'll follow your advice (and Kitty Blue one about pinning it with a safety pin) and look around for gloves and similar to take apart!
