Oh poop! I've started to fall for these gorgeous Catish dolls too! I'm fairly sure that I'd like to order the new pink fluxus dreaming girl, she's just so cute looking and the really bright pink resin is adorable! I'm just not overly keen on her outfit, but that's something that can be changed There are far too many dolls on the wishlist at present, oh well!

Edited to add - I just popped her on a layaway, I am not letting an LE slip through my fingers!! I seem to be obsessing over her lovely fondant icing pink colour.

 

The dreaming fluxus is super cute~ Congrats on ordering her, beatnik! I'm hoping Dollmore will come out with more interesting colors. Did you guys see the different resins Haru casted her in for demonstrating their resin colors? Makes me want a tan or violet Reaa. XD I'm sure dollmore will come out with one in similar colors someday.

 

Thank you I am beyond excited about this girl. She's really different to all my other dolls (but then again they are all very different) so she will look great as a contrast. I saw the Haru Casting pictures too and the lovely minty blue one caught my eye, so fingers crossed for more colours soon!

Loving the new Reaas! The Lalasweet is so pretty. The Cancans I'm not too crazy about, but their outfits are gorgeous.
The Fluxxuses ... look kind of sickly to me. I think they could use more defining faceups. Love the short blond wig though.
My two ladies have been boxed forever. I'm tight on funds now so it's going to be a while before I can get Bonita Trouble Pussy her Judith body.

I know what you mean about the face-ups on the pink fluxus girls. I plan on adding to it myself once she arrives I am now also wishing I'd added a Mink girl to the order.

 

Well I rushed through my layaway for the pink fluxus dreaming reaa so she is now in the process of being made and I should have another catish girl on her way too! I adore these girls and I can't wait to see them in person

 

I order the dreaming one as well..I couldn't pass her up either...she is gorgeous I love different resin colors. It will be cool once mine arrives so I can see how she looks with my other 3! Though I kinda wish I would have gone ahead and ordered her beast hands and some heeled feet. Now the wait, which normally isn't so bad..though I did order another doll with her a tan Momo.

 

She is beautiful congrats! The dreaming fluxus was the one that pushed me into getting myself a catish. I will be ordering a Melancholy Mink too, but I am going to wait until my two turn up before I go ahead (I want to inspect them in person before I commit to buying a third)!

 

I bought a Black Lac Reaa (white) via the MP and she arrived safely today She came with her stock wig (an additional brown wig) and her stock eyes. Her face-up has been redone and I may be tweaking some of that to look more like the default but all in all I am very impressed with dollmore's quality. The resin is so smooth and heavy and her construction is amazing! I have to admit I was actually surprised by her buxom appearance, but the last few dolls I have had arrive have been from Doll Chateau and they are very spindly compared to her. Anyway, here she is...

And another picture with her stock wig on My mind is well a truly made up, as soon as I am able I'll pop a layaway on melancholy mink. Now to think of a name for this lovely girl.

 

Bringing this one back up to say I've now named my black lac reaa, Serin (following on with my bird species names theme) and I have removed her eye make-up and reapplied it more to my taste and tweaked the rest of her face-up too (namely glossing and more colour). I am now on the hunt for some white eyelashes as I've run out! I should have my pink fluxus dreaming reaa home before the end of the month and I've put a melancholy mink on layaway!

Does anyone else feel their girl needs eyebrows? Or at least markings like eyebrows? Lol, it's been bugging me that Aria hasn't got any, I think I'll add some this weekend if its not too rainy

You know, I hadn't even thought of it because the wig mine wears has such long bangs, I wouldn't be able to see them anyway. But I look forward to seeing how you do with them, KageNoHoshimi and I hope you'll post a pic of your girl with them after you're done.

they can be quite addictive, I have the black resin and mink resin melancholy girls and the russian blue boy..pink fluxus on her way soon I hope. I have the Luts MDF girl and boy kitties as well..love my kitty dolls.

Update: Just got notice yesterday my order is delivering!! Yay pictures for sure once she comes in...I'll have to take a group shot as well.

 

I have a bit of a dilemma. I changed Betty Page (Rule the Cat World:Red Reaa) out of one outfit back into her default one, and when I took off her wig, I noticed a LOT of staining on her head from her black wig. It basically goes all the way around her head. To make matters worse, she's made from glow-in-the-dark resin.

I've heard that silicon wigcaps can actually pull dark wig dye into itself and worsen staining, but I've also heard that people have taken a white or light-colored balloon and made wigcaps out of them to block staining from wigs. I'm worried that the balloon might do the same thing, pull dye from the wig to stain her head.

Has anyone here had luck with a balloon wigcap? If not, what do you all do to prevent staining from dark wigs? I hate the idea of taking the wig off of her and only putting it on when she's going to a meetup, not to mention the wig might stain her head again anyway.

I'm reluctant to use magic eraser on her default faceup, not to mention if I do her headcap, it might just re-stain anyway. I don't really want to wash her wig for fear that it'll take the waviness out of it and it won't be a nice as it is currently. Honestly speaking, if she wasn't a LE, I'd just leave it and let the wig continue to hide it but....

This is also a warning for those of you that have dark wigs on your light/glow-in-the-dark Catish dolls. Be aware of this happening, especially if you have a really light doll like my glow-in-the-dark Reaa.

tl;dr: Betty Page's head and face is stained from her default wig. How do you get it off without ruining her or her wig and how do you prevent it from reoccuring?
