1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollmore Model Doll F - Mary Pearce

May 18, 2009

    1. Kind of a late response but I wanted to point out that you can get her head separately the same way you can get the other model doll female heads. Just put her name in the comments when you order--even though her head isn't listed yet, it works. I did it. :)

    2. Ooh! Thanks for the info, Andarton! ;)

    3. Dollmore model dolls are so pretty.
But this is too big for me = =
I like the normal size adult or teen.

    4. She's really pretty, especially with the orange wig. But I tend to prefer dolls that look a little younger. She looks a bit too severe for my personal tastes. As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, there's a 'drag queen' look to her. I do love the dresses they have on her in the pictures, though. Absolutely stunning.

    5. I'd have to agree with the majority here that she would look better as a guy. The strong jaw line, the smaller eyes and the longer face all contribute to that looking from a guys perspective.
lol but on a personal note (if she were a real life person) she'd look like a b**** which is ample enough for me to stay away lol

    6. She is very pretty, But also would make a wonderful guy too. xD

    7. I got my blank Mary Pearce head a couple days ago. I'm still not sure if i'm going to make it a boy or a girl but I am leaning towards girl which is diffferent for me.

The head is more odd in person than I thought it would be, I really like the sculpt though. For all of it's sharp angles it's a small head with a narrow jaw and I could easily imagine it on a smaller body. The neck hole is made for a very slim neck but there is room for modification depending on what body I choose.

Now I just have to figure out DM NS resin matches. :sweat

    8. I'd love to see what she looks like without a faceup. :)

    9. I think she'd be a good girlfriend/boyfriend or sister/brother to Unidoll Jace.

    10. Good call! I never thought about that, but she does have the sharp realistic look of some of the Unidolls.

    11. Seconding the request for non-faceup pictures of Mary Pearce, please!! I'm looking at the Normal skin Spiritdoll girl body and the Spirit resin matches, while their NS is close to Volks it looks like it might be lighter...?

    12. I can try to get some pictures of the blank head in the morning probably.

    13. Wonderful! Thanks Andarton! I'm really interested in seeing what Mary looks like without a faceup and what the possibilities are with her sculpt.

    14. Please do, andarton ~ the default and LE faceups are neat, but I'd like to see her blank as well so I can see what other potential lies in there. Her profile is stunning, so full of character. I think that even with the narrow chin she could easily handle a larger neck.

    15. Thanks for the pics, andarton!!

    16. There is something about her that i REALLY like >< I just can't pin point what it is. It does bug me a little though that her head seems a little big on the body....that could just be the pictures i've seen but other than that.....I dunno ^^ I'm getting one anyway!

    17. I rather like her...it's unfortunate I really have no plans for her in my future though! >< I think it's refreshing to see a girl doll who isn't marketed as big-eyes, cutesy, and well...feminine! She's sort of that unusual "ugly-pretty" you see in a lot of high-fashion runway models. I really like that vibe I get from her...makes her seem more like a real human woman, and less like a doll trying to fit a certain accepted aesthetic. ^-^

    18. I like her limited version, Snake Kiss, she remindes me of Bella Swan from Twilight somehow.

    19. Sorry for bumping a old thread, but I really think this gal needs some love.
Ordered the Snake Kiss version, and I'm ecstatic!
I can't seem to find anyone talking about her really, and the pictures are even fewer, real shame, cause I think she's super cool!
Was eyeing her when I first got in to BJD:s, but got distracted by Iplehouse.
Found her again less than two weeks ago, and put in an order almost right away!
Can't wait to get her, I hate the wait :P
