Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Thanks. I just... I dunno, yellow isn't my favorite and I think if I had expected it I may feel differently... though if I had known I'd probably have gotten normal. I'm so tempted to try and sell her to "trade" but I dunno... I adore her sculpt so much I wouldn't look forward to a 3+ month wait for another lol

      Also thank you again. I dye wool too for another craft but don't have the best of luck getting exact colors I want. The RIT site said for a reddish brown cinnamon to mix 2 parts dark brown to 1 part wine. Well that ended up rather purplish, I added the whole bottle of wine and whole bottle of dark brown. It turned out a purplish dark brown.

      I feel like if I maybe get a bottle of straight red it would redden it up. If that doesn't work I guess I could get red red and add a touch of black to make it darker. I dunno... I have rotten luck. Last resort is buying predyed stuff I guess.


      ETA, to keep it on topic. Had some tea with Nik last night while watching Once Upon A Time on Netflix. This tea set is a touch too small but I'm excited to watch thrift stores/garage sales to find a better sized one. :)

    5. I couldn't agree more. I haven't had time to play with my baby yet (having two real life babies under 5 will do that as well as a job and house to run) haha but I get so happy every time i see her pretty face sitting on my desk. <3

      I've never ordered from Dollmore before, but I am hoping Mokashura will be home before Christmas ::fingers crossed::

      Sharing to show the doll stand I got her. It's not super rugged or anything... but it was $10. it's for the Target line of Our Generation dolls. It adjusts so although OG is bigger, its working brilliantly for my Mokasura... and a fraction of the price of Dollmore's... I wouldn't mind paying for DM's but I can't handle the shipping cost lol.

      Anyone have any heavy duty options that are affordable?



      Also... Anyone have 26mm eyes? I don't want to risk paying almost $30 for eyes and have them not fit her right... but Dollmore is out of the blue I want in a 28mm size... I'd appreciate a picture so much!

    9. Yeah I asked them for them in my order Memo and they sent light violet instead :( I wanted a deep blue but I understand they can't always give what you want.

    11. I think that is one thing about having a Mokashura that is making me nervous, finding eyes for her. I looked on ebay and even though there were a few pairs, not many color choices. The only doll I have here with eyes that big is my Angell Studio llama. :lol:

    12. Yeah I knew I wanted to make her a wig so I wasn't worried about that... I just need to find the perfect eyes... once I do I"m good. I'm a "one pair of eyes one wig" kinda owner. May have to make my own eye though since I want one of them to be "steam punk"... Time to learn resin casting! hahaha x-x

    13. Ha. I'm the same way. Usually once I figure out what I want my dolls to look like they stick with the same wig and eyes for a long time.
      I'm not entirely sure what I want for my Mokashura yet. I was thinking blonde or light brown hair with blue eyes. Guess I will see when she arrives.
      I like your idea of having one steam punk eye and one colored eye for your doll, I bet she will look amazing when she is all put together.

    14. Thanks. I was going to order a 26mm from Ersa Flora but they can't do 26mm right now :( I'm hoping she can soon but if not I guess I'll try my hand. I have resin but I need I guess... a mold... and tiny gears... ack, involved. Oh well, she's going to be my serious project doll... going to learn a lot of things for her. :)

    17. I don't know about working with resin, but maybe you can sacrifice an old/broken watch for tiny gears? Or I've seen some steampunk type charms in craft stores that could possibly work.
      Right now I am tempted to go buy a Disney princess doll to use as a model for some clothing and a display space.

      Ooo congrats, I was wondering if anyone had a tan girl coming. Can't wait to see! :)

    18. Yeah, I had an old watch but I think it wasn't the right kind of watch 'cause it didn't have gears that I saw. Or I wasn't looking right not sure... but I saw some misc gear lots on Etsy for those who make jewelry with it.

      Oh, can't go wrong with that. I was tempted too but managed not to. I have mine now, just haven't had the time I wanted to create for her. But I got my daughter an 18" doll for her birthday and the props were oh so tempting!

    19. I can't see the pic you posted, but does Mokashura come with 26mm or 28mm? I think I'm going to wait before I buy any wigs or eyes until she gets here just because I'm anxious to see what she comes with...but I've been looking just in case.
