Kitty: Thanks Who needs to buy Christmas decor when you have dollies you can dress up? hehe ETA: Natty found some friends. ProArtist Day! by Call Me Stephanie, on Flickr Oops, I tripped, accidentally added this wig to my ebay cart, and checked out! My bad. Oh well, Natty's going to look adorable in this wig! I can't wait... and for $11, I couldn't pass it up! It's not 1000% what I wanted (I wanted bigger softer curls) but I haven't found what I wanted yet so this'll do for now. I can't wait to get it and redo her face up and make her my old character. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTU2WDU3OA==/z/I5wAAOxyj4hTGpVA/$_12.JPG
Yeah. I feel more strongly toward that character than the other. ^_^ I can't wait. I haven't bought anything for the other anyway so I'm not out anything.
Oooh I like that wig (and her new name too) Just got news that my dolly has shipped. I can't wait until she arrives! Maybe then I can think of the perfect name for her. I haven't been able to choose one so far.
Thank you Kitty! Exciting!!! I can't wait for her to get to you, I hope you post lots of pictures! I just adore these little girls so much!
Look who is here! She came with blue eyes and pink wig (though I also have blonde for her). I absolutely love her! She fits perfectly with all of my Alice in Wonderland stuff and various tea sets. She will be loosely based on Alice but I am still undecided on a name (I already have a doll named Alice).
Homigosh I'm dying of cute! Congrats! I'm envious, she has the exact wig and eyes I asked for lol. I knew they'd make such a cute combination and your little not-Alice proves that. Way adorable, so glad she made it to you safe!
Thanks! I wasn't sure about the pink wig when I saw it in the box because I really wanted for her to be blonde, but I think it really works for her. She will wear it at least until I finish the dress I wanted to make for her. I'm also really tempted to dress her up as Elsa from frozen because I have some fabric that would work for that too lol. Also for anyone who might be curious, I ended buying one of the Disney Animator dolls and sewing 1 test dress before Mokashura arrived and when I put it on Mokashura yesteday, it fit her perfectly. Their bodies are somewhat similar, hands and feet are almost the same size too. The Disney princesses heads are a little bigger though.
Oh man, dress her up as Elsa and I can dress my girl up as Anna, she's got the carrot orange wig LOL Thanks for the heads up about the dolls
I will definitely see what I can do this week, either sew her something or she can "steal" an Elsa dress from one of my daughter's dolls
I don't really have the skill or supplies to make an Anna dress or money to buy one but oh well, cute idea. New wig! It's a Monique Collection Charmaine size 12-13 in black. It's super cool, it's got a ribbon and velcro bit inside to make it smaller if needed. It fits her nicely. The wig itself looks huge but I think with a bit of styling it'll look beyond adorable! I'll have to redo her face up but I don't mind at all... I'm just so in love with this little girl!!! New Wig! by Call Me Stephanie, on Flickr
Oh how cute! I like curly wigs for dolls, but don't have the patience myself for the wig maintenance that goes along with.
I must have been lucky, I've never had much issue with the curly wigs I've had. I have a similarly curly wig on a puki and she's been wearing it for almost 2 years now. haha
Either lucky or you have more patience than I do ETA: I had a chance to play today and was able to dress her as Elsa: Here
Thanks I had a lot of fun dressing her up and posing her. She was wearing a Disney toddler doll dress, unfortunately it didn't close all the way in the back. Looks like she will be the most spoiled of my dolls.
Oh what a pity. Could use some ribbon to make a fake corset look. I'll be doing that with a beautiful purple dress my friend sent for an old MSD I had. She'll surly be my most spoiled too. ^_^
