1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

DollMore Mokashura Mini 40cm discussion part 1

Jun 2, 2014

    1. Mu Shu: Lua doesn't look "angry" at all ;)...maybe a bit gloomy. She has cool eyes and face up.

I like the Russian theme of the new dolls - the story of Vassillisa, her doll & Baba Yaga.

Remember this Dollmore girl, she's gorgeous.

    2. I don't know what happened but I went from 'This type of dolls kind of creep me out' to 'This might actually be the doll for me that others keep calling a grail'. I'm so intrigued by them. Their huge head. Their tiny body. Their expression. Their impact. I've got no words for it.

Any owners who want to share more pictures please? I want to see more. I'm pining for one of these cuties. Tell me about them and your experiences please. Posing? Weight? Quality?

    3. Siara: That's understandable, I've always thought that they were adorable but it's the huge head on a little body that I'm not crazy about. Size 13 wig!

    4. I like a lot of big baby lines and those oversized heads are growing on me so I might add a Duyou to my wishlist. I'm wondering if removing the hands and feet is really as easy as it looks on the site. Also, besides Dollmore, what is your favorite store to buy wigs for these dolls?

    5. Size 12-13 wigs Doll Peddlar
Although I've read Mokashura takes a size 13-14.

    6. Thank you.

    7. I watched this cute video on Mokashura dolls and I noticed they don't have an S-hook inside the head. They have something shaped like a ring there. How do you take off the head?

Also, what shoe shoe size usually works best for this doll? Dollmore recommends MSD-size but, her feet seem too wide for a lot of MSD-size shoes from other brands. Would SD-size shoes work?

    8. I'm guessing you just put your finger inside the ring, pull a bit and twist it to the side like a regular S-hook. At least that's how it looks like to me, I don't have a Mokashura. I could be wrong. : p I hope it's that simple.

I would also like to know what shoes fit, so if someone knows, please share. :3

But uwah, I came here to squee a bit. I FINALLY saved enough money for a Mokashura! Loongsoul's sudden discontinuations drained my money last year and my Mokashura plans were delayed. I will finally have my very own Kurios Black. :whee: I love the video above, because it's so great for reference. Without it I wouldn't have bought my Kurios Black boots. I'm so glad I didn't miss out on this limited doll and I can't believe I finally ordered her. Dollmore is having a summer event, btw.

On another note, has anyone tried Baby Born clothes on Mokashura? Some dresses for them are surprisingly cute and not too baby looking.

    10. They are like the trinity and lusion dolls, the resin piece inside the head essentially is your S hook it's attached to the elastic. You just put your finger in it pull up and twist it to fit through the hole in the bottom of the head.

    11. I see, thank you.
