she is lovely! mo does adorable faces your girl has such a sweet pensive face that makes sense, the deardolls have waaay more joints and use the same shabee head. my second shabee is a deardoll, but that thread is pretty much inactive.

Or at least not get any more (I can't get rid of any after all lol) I do think the "new" Tiny Alex is cuddlier. Sometimes I miss the pretty of the Zihu (not that he's not in my head box), but I love the Narsha's chubby cheeks, and giant eyes. I'm very excited, suddenly I find myself in the posistion of being able to make a Dollmore order and I'm getting Tiny some clothes. Baby and Little Alex have cute sailor suits, so I'll get the Narsha Sailor Suit for Tiny, along with some other things. I'm obsessed with getting new clothes for all my younger Alexes atm.
No, redoing faceups often lol I buy new Kara Klum heads just so I don't have to redo the faceups on the ones I already have XD Then they somehow end up with bodies of their own.... I'm about to start doing it with my Migidoll Ryu, though it's less about his faceup and more about giving him a new expression...I'm just hoping I don't need to make him full dolls as well. His body is my most expensive, and discontinued XD To stay on topic

Since my last post, I *still* haven't got round to making medieval clothes for Lovell, but I did get some nice fabrics last weekend at a hobby fair. In fact, I took Lovell with me to the fair, so, um, she got lucky. I shopped for her in what was actually a shop for teddybears - but there happened to be some items that fit her singularly well! It was fun too, because the teddybear lady was really enthusiastic about providing my tiny with an outfit. She made her try just about every top and every hat. In the end, I chose these: Lovell by severelysigune, on Flickr ...Not even close to (tom)boyish, but how could I resist? The top and hat look like they were made for her XD!
Guys I need help!! What size eyes do you have in your Narsha?? I'm about to order eyes, but now I don't know if I should 10s or 12s, and he's at home (I'm at work) so I can't check!!
Thank you!! But I was saved a quick decision anyway by the website crashing :\\\\ I figure I'll wait til I get home now and order then. I'm so happy to finally eyes in the right color though...it's been driving me nuts! No one sells the right blue...they're all too dark, or a little on the green side, which is not what I want. Stupid Dollmore...get me hooked on their eyes and then only sell them in 14s and up! WTH! I might have to grab a few extra pairs when I buy my Narsha some lol that way I'll have a stockpile!

It really is. It kind of made sense back in the day, when their dolls took 14s and 16s, but now they have a lot of different sizes...And I seem to need 10s and 12s more and more. So last night I took my Narsha and an off topic tiny and compared their eyes (I was confused because I had 10s in the OT tiny and they looked the same as the eyes in my Narsha that I thought were 12s)....yeah. MOC sent me 12mm eyes not 10mm eyes like I ordered :\ Which is why I was so confused on the eye size! And why the "10mm" eyes didn't fit in the OT head! Urg. Every time I order from them it's always something....
I have 12 mm eyes in Lovell too. (Er, that sounds weird.) I have never actually tried 10 mm. The 12 mm (and 10 mm) eyes I have are either from Alice's Collections, when they are high-domed, or from Captured in Glass, when I need low-domed ones. I'm really happy with all of those, though I guess my tastes in eyes are quite simple - I don't look for 'unconventional' patterns or really realistic irises; pretty much my only requirements are that they are glass, the right colour and pretty.
The eyes I just ordered are from Alice too...good to know they're nice! I have one pair I got as a gift (Isis has them...she's mostly off topic here lol but she's at least from Dollmore!) and they were really nice. I'm always a little nervous buying glass eyes from new places, and I'm used to Dollmore since I ordered a lot back in the day when they gave them out for free. Then the more Alexes I got the more I had to buy and no one sells that blue :\ so a huge amount of my eyes are DM. I love captured in glass...seems like I need low domes for pretty much everyone...but they didn't have the right color either *doom* so heres hoping Alice's Collections has good pictures!
