Yeah, I love the body too...there's something about her sculpts that are just so...pretty. I have two Zaoll bodies as well, and even though they're single jointed I just LOVE them. They're so natural, and have a grace a lot of bodies are missing. But that could just be me XD
Well, I just think that head looks older than a little kid- plus finding clothes- although I can sew, so I might be able to make something, but Zihu really looks like a mature mini to me... But I've never seen one of these dolls in person, so the body could be better than it looks in the pictures. I don't know- I want something skinnier and taller... Although the SQLab 30 cm body looks like it would be great for this doll. I love Zihu's face a ton though. There is something really striking about her.
the iplehouse kid body is the same size but a little slimmer. i know i've seen comparison pictures somewhere but can't remember where, sorry (might be on one of the iple kid threads)
I saw that. It's not a bad idea. But I was thinking either the SQlab body or a Doll Chateau body. Of course it's all just a fantasy... le sigh... doll funds are tapped out at the moment.
Totally, utterly agree! Until I bought my first Gu Mi-jeong doll, all my dolls were double-jointed, so I was a bit worried that I might not like the single-jointed bodies. But I do. Besides, Gu Mi-jeong's body sculpts have more human proportions than most BJDs. They are wonderful, with lovely hands and lovely feet, and like VA13 says, they are graceful too. They may not be capable of some of the more complex poses that my double-jointed dolls can do, but whatever they *can* do, they do naturally and elegantly. Pure love XD... demi_, your Zihu is adorable! I love how you have styled him ...

The Zihu face is so delicate, and I adore her body, her hands are so elegant and her posing is great for a single jointed body, and she has very natural poses, too. This place has been quiet for a while, it seems! I wanted to share my only human doll, Phillipa, or "Pippa" , the Narsha. her clothes are a bit ragged, but that will eventually be corrected. I also want to get some better glass eyes for her.
