Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Dollmore Narsha and Friends Discussion Part 2

Jul 25, 2011

1. The real skin seems to sell slowly. I bought my Zaoll at the end of May and she is still not sold out. People may pass on them because of the strane outfits. I'm not sure I will ever take Zaoll's out of the package! And I did ask them to omit the black nail polish!

2. the translucent skin is pretty, but it's too bad they don't make the costumes an optional extra so that you can get the special skin colors without buying the clothes!

3. Nancy: I can keep my fingers crossed then. :) Though, the character has since been reshelled so I'm not sure I'd even do with her haha. We'll see.

auntbear: I agree! I'd probably end up selling half her set. I'm never one for full set dolls.

5. Hello =)
One question.
Fits a Narsha dress on an Tiny/26cm body?

6. No, a Narsha dress would swim on a 26cm Tiny, Narsha is 35cm :)

7. Hey guys, long time no talk. ;w; I still have Toby and recently I went to a meet up!

8. hi toby (what a handsome lad)

9. Toby is a handsome lad! And so nicely dressed!

10. Ah, thank you. :3 He's my favorite out of all my dolls... if I ever had to sell my collection, I'd make sure he'd be safe! He's wearing a MSD shirt and tie, since I don't really have any clothing that fits him well, his pants I made but they are kinda poorly made... ;w; my hand sewing skills are kinda poor.

11. from the picture i wouldn't have been able to tell that the shirt was too big, but then i find that this size can get away with some of the msd clothes as long as the sleeves are short. and boys that age often wear their shirts a bit on the big side so it works anyway :)

12. auntbear - Yeah, I was going to say that MSD ( especially slim msd) shirts work really well if the sleeves are short, because the length is only a little too long and it doesn't look like the poor doll is swimming in it. Shorts also work, too! The unoa shorts that toby wears often look like basketball shorts on him. :goldstar

13. my girls both shabee and my iplehouse kids (who were the same size) tend most often to get stuck stealing clothes from my minifees. elbow length sleeves work as long sleeves, mini skirts as knee length and stretchy cropped leggings make great pants depending on the length. the width is usually only a little off. the poor girls have very few clothes that actually belong to them. i keep promising to sew them some clothes that would be specifically theirs but life keeps happening and so far all they have are promises

14. Oh yes, the perils of owning a doll thats a funny size. Not small enough or too small, legs/arms are either too long or not long enough. Narsha's are that odd perfect size between tiny and msd, but it often doesn't play in their cards well. xD I love them though!

15. My Narsha wears regular MSD clothes, of course most of the dresses were designed to be long tops but they look so cute on her XD
The tricky part it's the shoes, feet too small for MSD size but not thin enough for tinies... mine only has one pair I got from Dollmore.

I totally understand what you said about Narshas "growing in you", I don't like her promo pictures and I wouldn't have got her if I didn't see her first in person. I went to a meet once and loved this little Narsha, and not long after her owner decided to sell her so I adopted her.

She already looked like part of the family (this picture is from that meet)

16. My girl is wearing Goodreau shoes, I still have several pair. I suspect she might also wear shoes for the Kish 14" girls. My Goodreau resin Innuendo is wearing a pair I got for a MNF I no longer have. Did that make sense? :) I need to try the shoes on Narsha to be sure.

17. Ohhh, long time no seen! Lots of lovelies here!
I really have to give my Zihu more camera-time...

About the shoes, I've realised that Narshas can share with some shoes that fit Minifee (although those are hard to find, too).

18. i find that shoes are the trickiest part for most of the dolls. so many of the shoes tend to not fit even the dolls they are supposed to. my dolls have a huge box of shoes for all the sizes, but only a few that i would say fit anyone really well.
at least there are getting to be a few more dolls this size now so it should get easier to find clothes and i'm hoping that the minifee moe shoes will fit narsha. haven't had a chance to check yet though.

19. I know there is a seller on Ebay that sells Narsha sized shoes for a pretty decent price - Deb's Adorables (under the category of Kish 14" Lark/Piper/Wren ), I was actually directed to that seller by someone here! Its only fair I pass along the knowledge, the quality is really nice and there is enough wiggle room with the sneakers that my toby can wear socks! (These also fit my DIM Sweet, so this a win-win for me.)

20. EDIT!: Changed my mind, think I might get a Coco though c:

Has anyone ever put a YoSD head on these sweeties? (or put the head on a Yo body) I'm assuming it will work, but it wouldn't be bad to have some proof or knowledge of stuff I might have to do > u <

I'm planning to get a sleeping Narsha boy and an Impldoll Ives and do a head switch... because I think Ives is quite a lot like Unoa Chibi Roron Roar FP... but with elf ears, and I think he needs to go on the taller body. And since it doesn't look like Impl do separate heads, I created a second character for the Narsha head and Impl body xD
