Dolls with Strong Features

If you ever decide to cast him and sell even a single copy please keep me in mind... he's absolutely gorgeous and I'm so, so happy to see more people with older characters. So far I've been manipulating my big boys through force of will and faceup alone to make them look older...

 

Ha ha! Thanks. He has been cast by me and approved by doa mods but he won’t be for sale unfortunately as I got very attached to him during the process and he’s my first cast diy sculpt so he’ll be kept as a very personal project.

I hope to do some more sculpts though, and I’ll be focussing on mature male sculpts as they’re my preference. I love sculpts that are not traditionally pretty, so expect more unusual faces soon! Most of them will likely be 40+ and range possibly up to 60/70ish. I don’t know if/when they’ll be any for sale but hopefully one day…

He he yes I have Iso , being old comes with the benefit of old discontinued rare dolls it's a miracle I am not discontinued myself lol . Iso is currently faceless until I l' ll decide his fate but hopefully this will show his nose and features better to me he has an ancient Roman aesthetic

The current preorder (the first) for them is over, but I strongly suspect they will be back in the future because the preorder seemed quite popular.

 

Personally I LOVE big noses. In all honestly big noses are just attractive, so the nose shape is 100% a deal breaker for me.

I do like more prominent or odd features, but within reason. Some of those dolls made to look like actors are too uncanny for me, and I love the uncanny. It’s a little TOO prominent.

 

I also love big noses! A nose proportionate to the face and with a curve that could hold glasses makes my day.

 

My favorite impressive schnoz over here belongs to Aelfred, my Unidoll Jace. That sculpt is long out of production, and Unidoll went the way of the dodo bird somewhere along the line, but they're not too uncommon on the marketplace. They're worth a look if you're after a larger male doll who isn't the standard "pretty boy" type.

 

I am loving all these dolls! I very much appreciate strong features on dolls (and people, honestly). April Story Liam comes to mind for me, as I bought him because of his incredible nose and overall profile. ♥

 

I will always love my Rumpelldoll Morfeo-- the nose is so unique, and the lips and ears help with that look. Here is mine with an older faceup (I don't have any up-to-date pictures right now). It's a male sculpt, that I'm using for a girl character. She's absolutely enchanting.


I prefer realistic looking dolls, and I am a lover of unique noses. I'm a big fan of LLT Ahaz, I don't own one, but I do like his face a lot. I find a lot of the dolls I enjoy have strong, unique features.

 

I follow the artist of this head on instagram and the photos of this sculpt are really cool as well (I really like the first one from this set). He has such strong features and if it wasn't because I can't spend anymore right now I would get him.

 

@Gynure , yes, I don't buy the larger dolls anymore, but if I were still in the market I might go for him.

 

I like aquiline noses - like Soom Chrom.
