LESS THAN A WEEK. I'm still stunned. I previously ordered urethane eyes from them in '09 and it took 2-3 months to ship. This time they shipped my order after only 5 days. I don't know if the eyes I ordered happened to be already made or what but WOW. I'm so used to urethane eyes taking weeks/months/etc. and this was a pleasant surprise!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

Even more so. Pictures can't do their eyes justice.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?

They are even more gorgeous in person.

EXTREMELY.

the quality was fantastic and the price extremely reasonable.

Almost identical.

Very satisfied, as were the participants in my orders.
August - September order had the wrong color eyes sent, but Dollshe said they would send the correct eyes to the participant. No extra charge for shipping.

If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
Dollshe is shipping the eyes directly to the participant who's eyes were wrong.

Would you order from this company again?
Yes. I will run group orders for them as often as I can.

Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
Definitely. But not their old style eyes. I don't find them to be as nice as their new eyes.

Communication was great! They are always very polite and attentive to customer.

It took about 4 weeks, very fast!

Absolutely! The quality of this body is excelent.

Good. They don't send an invoice for payment (you must go to your paypal page yourself and pay), they send a confirmation email of the order then a tracking number once the order is sent.

Very easy with paypal.

A week (I'm in Europe!). ^^/

Yes, the eyes are magnificent.

Not exactly, the color is slightly different. But I checked customers' pictures for reference before ordering. And the size is different too, smaller (a 16mm for them corresponds to 14mm for other companies). But I knew this before ordering.
* Were you satisfied with the product?
With the product, very! But not with the packaging which arrived completely crushed. Fortunately, no damages.

Saint head, oriental skin with both OE and SA faceplates, no faceups, no aesthe restoration. ($197.24, including shipping to Canada.)

* How was the communication?
Communication was through My Account and Order Status. Updated very promptly at every step.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy. Once I placed my order I was redirected to the Paypal website where my invoice was waiting, and then back to Dollshe when I'd paid it, with the status already updated to show my completed payment.


* How long did it take to ship?
Shipped from Dollshe on February 16, 2011 ( :O ) arrived to me on February 22, 2011. Probably would've been even faster but for the Statutory Holiday on Monday. 3 business days to ship!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Dollshe's quality, as always, is completely outstanding. Very much worth the price I paid.

Exactly, and I really appreciate that Dollshe has blank pictures up on their website along with the faceup pictures.

My first Dollshe head was actually second hand, so I'd absolutely buy second hand if the price was right. If the price was close to the Dollshe price, though, I'd almost rather order straight from the source, if available!

Several pairs of Dollshe eyes in a group order.

Payment was confirmed January 30.

* How was the communication?
Good. I kept up on the order through the order page.

* How easy was it to pay?
Easy with Paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
The order was shipped February 16 and arrived on the 19th.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes! These were my first real urethane eyes and they are gorgeous! Depth, color and clarity (as well as a relatively quick turnaround time) are all well worth the price. The only thing I don't like is that if you look at them funny they'll get scratched... you have to be careful!

For the most part. One pair of eyes I ordered are a bit darker than in the photo, but of course it's due to monitor vs. real life.

I am very happy with Dollshe eyes.

If I can find them... Dollshe eyes rarely turn up in the secondhand market.

The order took 2 months and 15 days to be completed. Then the shipping took 4 days from Korea to France with EMS.

Yes! The eyes are wonderful.

Yes, except one color which was not exactly the same.

I wish the time they took to make urethane eyes was clearly stated on the site. And which pairs are in stock or not. It's a little confusing when your first order takes 1 week and the second 2 months and a half.

Yes, the price was very cheap with the sale and even if the doll does have marbling and sanding marks, I think it's right for the price I payed.

The only thing I'm not comfortable with is THE WAITING TIME. I know I've been really lucky since I just waited a few months, but I still think waiting 3 months for a doll is too much.

* Any additional words/thoughts on this company? I'm in agreement with Algesiras' comment - the wait times are not made clear on the Dollshe website. I waited several days for my first order to ship out and this time I waited over two months. Luckily I saw Algesiras' comment in this thread while I was waiting, so I wasn't worried about receiving my order, but there is no indication on the site about which eyes will take months to ship and which will take a few days. The website actually says it takes about a week to make a pair of eyes - so with my first order I assumed this was roughly how long the eyes would take to ship out. I don't mind waiting, I just wish there was some way of knowing in advance which eyes will take this long to make.

I am not sure if this is the right place for this remark. Please move or redirect my post if appropriate.

I just went to visit the Dollshe website for the first time and I'm finding it practically unnavigable. The design is pretty but it's hating Safari with a trackpad on OS X.

I suppose this is feedback, of a sort.

Details since my order was unusual:
I needed an ebony OE faceplate to go with a SA Rosen. I messaged Dollshe asking to buy one, expecting the usual 'that is impossible' I get every time I message a bjd company about a part not officially listed for sale as a separate piece. Dollshe surprised me by not only saying yes I could, but due to age my Rosen may not match, so they requested I send my current face plate and they would try to match it as close as possible. I was beyond floored, I would have felt lucky just to get 'yes' I never would have dreamed to be offered such generous service. So I shipped them my faceplate July 17th, I got a reply July 25th that they had it and they would contact me when my new plate was ready. I figured I was in for a long wait, so I settled in, but the box arrived yesterday Aug 8th! (I didn't get notice that he shipped but that's really never been a problem for me.) This has to be the shortest wait I've EVER had with a company. The color match isn't 100% but it is very very close, and with dark colors being as hard as they are to cast, I am seriously impressed. They also kindly replaced his SA head's missing magnet for me. I'm really just elated with Dollshe.

I'm officially calling it July 25th 2014 (I started talking to their rep before then, but that's when my faceplate arrived in Korea)

AMAZING. This order was done entirely through talking with their rep, all the replies were fast, friendly, and their English is really good. I felt very assured that we were understanding each other perfectly. I started the messages on their Q&A but their website changed over in the middle of our discussion, and the board with our conversation wasn't accessible. They switched to email only without missing a beat and assured me our conversations had been saved and could be referenced if needed.

Quality? Yes. Absolute perfection.

I have since, but probably not again until they come up with better business practices. My new order has a very open ended shipping schedule, apparently! This company is not for the faint of heart. If you want a company with a very solid and respectable delivery schedule this is NOT the company for you. The product will eventually be phenomenal... once you get it.
