1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollstown 15 year boy clothes?

Feb 5, 2008

    1. Okay, here's my (overly detailed) experience (if anyone still wants to know):

Most SD13 long leg stuff fits, but his shoulders are a little broad, so anything that doesn't have stretch in it has a hard time going on and usually looks tight in the shoulder area.

      Sadol
SD13 long leg pants (stretch corduroy) fit like a dream at the waist (if you're like me and like tight pants, that is), but if I'm going to be picky the leg length is a little short (unless the pants are pulled lower down the hips). The SD13 Sadol sweater and shirt I have are stretchy and also fit nicely.

SD17 pants (stretch leather) are very large in the waist, yet tight in the leg (although I think this is the cut of the pant, as they're tight on my Super Gem as well). Also long in the leg, but I kind of like the pants bunching up a bit.

      4D
I have 2 pairs of Hornbeam SD17 pants from 4D, and these fit much better than the Sadol SD17 pants. These are the best quality, best fitting jeans I've found. I suggest getting this size especially if you're going to be washing the pants since they might shrink. The waist is still a teeny bit loose, but it doesn't look awkward like the Sadol pants do. The legs are tight and long (but again, I think this is the cut of the pants).

The best skin-tight pants that I've found were actually made by inuchick, and, if you're so inclined, you can find the pattern for free here on DoA in the sewing section! (These pants are also a great fit on the Soom Super Gem boys, whose lack of butt tends to make clothes look weird).

I have an SD13 coat from Raphael, and let me just say it will *not* fit on the DT's broad shoulders. Tailored and stiff or thick fabrics don't have that stretch, so I'd definitely suggest going with something bigger than the SD13. And as mentioned before, his hands are large, so they sometimes need to be removed to get tight arms on.

Judging by the way things fit both of my boys, I'd suggest that things that fit a Super Gem boy should fit the DT15B well. The DT body is larger around the waist and thighs, shorter in the leg, and less broad in the shoulder and chest, but in general I think these differences are small (except for the leg length), and my boys share most of their clothes.

I'd like to try out Sadol's Senior Delf size, just because I think the leg might be a bit longer (and perhaps a broader shoulder?) I think the fit would be perfect. When I get the money for some new clothes, I'm definitely trying it out.

    2. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if Luts shoes (Senior Delf) fit the DT15B body well? I'm most worried about the ankle fitting in the shoe.

And if no one knows that, then what shoes do fit well?

    3. *Bump*

Anyone know what shoes fit him? Pweaas lol.

    4. Foot-size wise you shouldn't have a problem. All of the shoes I've tried have fit him, but I don't have any boots or anything that comes around his ankle. One pair does go up to right below the widest part of his ankle, and they fit fine. I have some Volks SD13 Boy shoes on him right now, and Leeke L Boy shoes will fit.

I say, if in doubt, go with lace-up boots XD

    5. Thank you so much Mokarran! Lol, you always seem to help when I have a DT15 question, so triple thanks.

And Aha! I wanted lace up boots, but my dad say's they're 'fruity' *_*
He wants me to get a pair of zip-up ankle boots because, 'they're the kind that a guy could hike in the woods with'. Yeah. I'm still getting the laceups. Lol. (I dont care if he looks fruity. I think he'd be punk-rocker)

    6. (Ancient post-bump, sorry!) Don't know if you'll catch this, mokarran (or anyone else), but did you ever try the Senior Delf size? ^_^ Any other DT15 boy clothing suggestions VERY WELCOME too, haha! I've just body-swapped one of my boys for a DT15 and his old SD13 LL trousers won't go over his calves or thighs! (For reference, they were a particular style of LeeKe trousers that had very tight calf areas, and a pair of Dollheart breeches).

    7. Thanks for this info. I been researching this body.:):thumbup

    8. The body has changed so what once fit make not or maybe if you don't mind certain issues. I have found it's best to get measurements of the body and compare to other companies dolls to see what of items mentioned fit them will work on this body. Also stuff that is loose fitting or can be adjusted by drawstrings or snaps repositioned is also a plus. Like anything in this hobby it can mean a lot of trial and error.
