Dollstown 15 year girl body

I've been waiting a year now for the 13 bodies. Sigh......... After so many promises of "next week", "november". "febriary". "spring", "soon", "august", and now "unknown" I'm starting to wonder if they will ever have bodies again. It really has been a year - I started asking last september. I have 4 heads waiting and I'm wondering why the company is so unresponsive to their loyal collectors - a year is much too long to wait.

I've looked at a lot of other sculpts for Rada, but she keeps telling me Seola's the only one. I'd cry if they discontinued her.

 

back around january or february they did say that, yes. But before that it was lots of "next week" responses. And back in the spring the did say august for the 16 body and that hasn't happened yet. Now they are not giving any timeframe on their ordering board for any of the bodies. And they didn't begin sales in summer as promised. So it's frustrating. I want to keep giving therm a chance, but it's getting hard to keep waiting when there's no indication they will actualy have bodies again. And lots of companies have started up production in less than the 10-12 months this has been going on so it does make me wonder.

 

I am SURE AnJongHak would never disappoint us.....they have been very busy
changing all of the body molds etc...having to do it all themselves this time I would imagine will be very hard. Did you all not notice the new heads???Or the changes to nearly all of the bodies??? Or read the notice about the hoping for *Winter (*Korea) sales???.......I am waiting very patiently...these bodies are after all works of art...... All can be seen in the "Working Gallery".....

Just out of interest, Summer over this side of the world hasn't started yet. It's currently winter here. Summer will be starting round November. I love the new bodies but am not in any hurry to get one so I'll just see when they're released. I won't buy any heads until then.

 

where? all I've seen is all the continued out of stock notices on the english order board and the questions posted there.
New heads would be great..... if there are bodies avaialable.

 

They're not done yet, but if you look at their working gallery, you'll see that they have finished prototypes for their resculpted bodies, along with some new heads in both SD and MSD sizes. (I'm loving the new SD head, it's like a grown-up Seol-A! )

I guess I wish they would have said a year ago that it would be well over a year before the bodies would be available again. I probably wouldn't have rushed to collect all the heads I did if I had known. My decision to buy them months ago was based on being told last nov, then feb, then april...

 

I don't think Dollstown is a "company," I think it's a person who makes beautiful dolls in his spare time - as his creative outlet and hobby. I'm just grateful that he's willing to share his wonderful creations with all of us. I'm willing to wait however long it takes.

I'm just praying I can get an order in for an Elysia 15girl before they sell out! We've all been waiting for so long now the feeding frenzy is going to make AnJongHak's head spin!
Personally, I'm hoping "Winter" means Jan/Feb because I have to save every penny for the LA Dolpa first. I was waiting for this girl for decades without knowing it, so what's a few more months? At least I can be happy that she will exist someday soon.

 

oh, I just noticed the new heads. They look great, but.. I was hoping to have Lucilles head on 15 girl body, I hope it will be possible....
Although head A looks very interesting.
I can't wait when they will be released.

 

I can't figure out how to order from this company or contact them to ask questions. I really love the sculpts and although the bodies are sold out i would be willing to wait. Anyone know how to get through from US????

 

I love the articulation of the torso. She looks like a tween doll and I like more mature in body and face.

 

I really love Dollstown dolls, and MUST eventually have a 13b2 Lucille, she's perfection!

One day I'll just have to figure out how to maneuver the website.

 

If you figure it out...let me know! I would love to buy a couple of the heads that are still available and wait for the bodies!

yeah, it's really easy. you just make an account and then you post what you want to get to the English order board. you need to make sure it's not sold out first though.

I got an Elf Soph there last year no problem.

edited to add, to make an account go on the first page of the site, look for the letters L J F in the upper right hand corner - they're really dark and hard to see - click on "J" and make your account, then use L to login and then you can write what you want to the order boards. if you order a body and a head you have to say the skin color for each.

 

No new bodies yet... ..but I did notice that they have Estella head in N/S and W/S $140.00USD and Hue head N/S $160.00USD back in stock....things are looking promising....will it be the bodies next....fingers and toes crossed XXXXX
