I asked how it was attached and they told me the tail has a magnet and can be attached to the body.

 

@JenniferCatherine Thank you for doing some extra digging. Attachment by magnet would be way better than actually sewing it to the clothes.


I keep going back and forth on if I want the fullset or should just get a blank doll. On one hand it would be really nice for my first humanoid bjd to be able to pull it out of the box and make it look pretty right off the bat, On the other hand; it seems several of the items such as the eyes, hair, and shoes won't even be the ones featured in the company photo. I've also heard that the face ups for this company can be sort of hit or miss. For any DZ owners that did get the company face ups on previous dolls, how did you find the quality?

I know no one owns this particular doll yet, but going off the company measurements what wig size range should it take? 6/7?

 

Well then, if that’s the case, my fullset will be a complete surprise when I open the box .

The cm measurements equaled 6.29 inches. So depending on the wig it should work. I bought a couple of 6/7 inch wigs from Fatiao which I found out were strechy, so I’m hoping they work. I thought this one was really cute.

 

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of Dollzone's Miyou? I've only been able to find the company photos of him and was wondering if he is as adorable in person! I was also hoping for a size comparison, either with larger dolls or everyday items.

 

Miyou was just released in early June, so its highly unlikely any have been sent out yet.

You could take a look at the Dollzone BB thread as other dolls have been released on that body (Little Rain, Evan, Jamie). You could also search those sculpts on Flickr and instagram to see if there are any pictures that work as a size comparison.

 

The wait times for DZ is four to six months, so the earliest owner arrivals would be October through December. I’ve ordered one myself, and am expecting him in December.

will be about 6 months at least until anyone has owner pics of him I think - but his default body has been used for YOSD Carter and Evan, so if you google them or look on the bb thread which baxterbrat mentioned, you might find a size comparison - This video has the yo carter on - it looks like a beautiful little body - the hands are lovely!

 

I've wanted a yosd but nothing really called out to me... until DZ's Miyou and Keai release. Now I have both on layaway and will get the event Daomiao too.

I think I'll like the size but I was never into chubby or childlike sculpts, so these anime sculpts are perfect and DZs bodies look very nice. I got Miyou and Keai on female bodies but with extra male hands (the sculpting is so nice! Nicer than the girl ones, imo), and I guess Daomiao will be on the male body so I get both in the end anyway.

I really can't wait to see what everyone will do with their Miyou and/or Keai.

 

@Einnn congratulations on getting both, plus a Daomiao! It will be interesting to see both the girl and boy bodies. What skin tone(s) did you choose? I’m looking forward to getting my. MiYou, and the wait is so hard!

 

@kurogane Thanks! I got them all in Normal Pink skin tone a well. I also got Keai with Miyou's ears/tail instead of the horns/tail. Initially I was going to get only Miyou but then twins popped up in my mind and I couldn't let go! DZs wait times were quite long right? It'll be my first time waiting so long, even with a layaway.

I’ve heard up to six months for DollZone. But in this thread I think I’ve seen people talking about their dolls arriving in four or five, or at least earlier than expected. I suppose it depends on how many orders they have. I personally am going to try and not be anxious until either six months are up, or I get a shipping update.

 

LOL. I wonder if anyone chose to have KeAi with his original horns? I knew I wanted them to both be the same “species” from the beginning. It just makes sense, you know? I should also be getting the Daomiao since I qualified but since they are limited, I wonder, does Dollzone tell people when the limited number is gone?

 

@ShadowMist The limited for the event doll just means they are only available for that time. Anyone who qualifies for the event will get one. Once they event ends, you cannot get one. I have not seen them do number limited for the event dolls, only time limited.

 

Oh! Okay. Sorry. I’ve never ordered from Dollzone before nor participated in one of their events. When I read this:

Daomiao-1 and Daomiao-2 is a gift for 2018 DollZone June Event,limit to 100 editions for sale.

I kinda misunderstood that to mean there would only be 100 made.
