Dollzone Baby BB 23cm - 29.5cm discussion part 3

I received my Daomiao on Monday, but sadly she was on the wrong body. Fortunately the dealer had the right one in stock so she sent me the right body and I'll ship her back the boy body. Super cute face though!

 

I ordered a Figaro on July. 02 and just got the shipping notice. Maybe you'll get yours soon?

 

I ordered MiYou around that time as well and am still waiting. I waited over a year for a Dollshe, so I’m kinda used to it now.

 

I dont know if I should feel better that I'm not only person who dont get the doll yet or should mad at dz takes fully 6 months to ship. alright I'll be more patient for this waiting. But I dont know if I can do this again or not haha

 

I have to admit I was leery about ordering because I had heard of 6, 8, 12+ months wait for DollZone/DollChateau. But I also saw people talking about getting dolls in three or four months recently so I was optimistic.

Ah well...

 

I think it has to do with where you order from. I used to order only from MOC before they closed and all my DZ/DC waits have been 6+ months. This time I decided to order from Alices Collections as I’ve heard their wait times are less for DZ. My wait was 4.5 months, my shortest ever for DZ. AC places each order with DZ separately, while most of the other dealers wait at least a month to gather orders, and places everyone’s order at the same time. So you could be waiting a month or more before your order is even placed! I was hesitant to order my MiYou as my last DZ order was 7 months, but I figured putting him off just makes the wait longer, and I had to have him! I feel for everyone who is waiting. It is very very hard. I’m burned out on long waits and really think I won’t be doing anymore preorders. This makes me sad as I’d like a KeAi, but um, probably not (even with ‘only’ 4+ month wait).

I bought a DZ Yui (msd) here on the marketplace to be my MiYou’s older sister. They both have the same little pout. Once all her stuff arrives I’m going to take pictures of them together.

 

I managed to get my only DZ doll in stock from MOC, but waited a long time for the head I ordered. I'm not sure if the Anita head was through them or DDE. The head is still in a box, since it didn't work for what I intended. The problem is the head is in the old yellow resin, so finding a body to match might be impossible. I do plan to get a DZ tiny body for a non DZ head I have. Not sure when that will be though.

 

Last time I ordered anything from Dollzone it was a pair of eyes. I waited 18 months and got nothing but a refund and no apology. So yeah...

 

@Quiet and Insane oooooooh not good. Yeah, that’s why I won’t order accessories from them as there is no reason clothing, shoes, wigs, or eyes should take as long as a doll! Fullsets I understand, but ‘in stock’ everyday items?

 

I ordered June 25th from BJDivas, MiYou and KeAi fullsets with the Daomiao event doll, and my order is now ready at BJDivas (though due to christmas season I'll continue the layaway I have, so they'll get to me at the start of the year or something). So I think orders should start popping up as ready quite soon.

However, while my order was all pink skin DZ made the extra male hands in white skin.
I'll just roll with it, since hands are so easy to blush color match compared to waiting more. Still a bit annoying but eh, at least their female bodies hands are fine. And if I remember, Daomiao has the male body I think, so at least one pair should be pink..?

 

@kurogane - That whole ordeal drove me mental. Never again will I just order accessories from them.

@Einnn - That's a bit annoying. At least it's an easy fix with blushing, but still.

 

DZ has their Christmas event dolls up on their instagram and website. It's two little centaurs. Well more like pega-uni-taurs. :P

 

@Tsukasa I was actually thinking the same thing. These guys would look just as cute with just two hoof legs.

Edited to add: And after looking at the pictures for the umpteenth time I just noticed Hotarubi has little orange hearts painted on his hooves. So cute!

 

They’re very cute! I find it kind of funny that the blur the nipples on the blank doll but not the blushed one.

 

Antu freaking slays me. I normally don't dabble in fantasy dolls and have never been interested enough to purchase a DZ doll, but I'm absolutely in love with this adorable unicorn child.

Does anybody have input into the posability of similar dolls? I've heard all the extra joints and such can be a bit of a pain and the posability is quite limited.

 

Oh, wow. I’m surprised and glad to know I’m not the only one that looked at them and really wanted them on a human body but still with the hooves. Great minds!!

 

Oh gosh they're so cute! I love Antu's colour scheme! Though I agree, the censored nipples is a little odd.

 

I think the nipple sensor thing is so that they can actually share their photos on Tumblr and not have the posts get flagged. Tumblr has been tagging most doll photos anyway though. :P

 

Tumblr is doing its best to repeatedly shoot itself in the head right now.

On topic- I have my tracking number for my Keai! Yay! I’ll post pics once he’s here, I hope the wigs I bought work, even though I got the fullset. I got some really cute redhead ones I thought would go well with the fox ears/tail since I had those substituted for the horns/tail.
