I have a 27-005 body and it's amazing! I 100% recommend it. My boy poses so well, I especially like that he can kneel, touch his face, slouch forward and backwards, and I even got him to stand on one leg once The body itself is sculpted so beautifully, he's got a subtle pear shape that I just love and his hands are so expressive! I have him in white skin, he's from 2018 so he hasn't yellowed much as far as I can tell. The white skin isn't as paper white as their old resin, it's more of a cream white but it most certainly isn't anywhere near a normal or pink skin tone.

 

Thanks so much. Now I'm trying to decide whether to save up for this or break down and get a Resinsoul body... Maybe I'll wait until I can get one secondhand.

 

If you want poseability, there is absolutely no contest! DollZone all the way. I've owned Resinsoul in the past and it isn't worth it. Without wiring and dremelling and re-engineering the dolls, they are good for little other than standing plain. Even with extensive modification, they generally look wooden and unnatural. Resinsoul would be fine if you want to stand it up and display it and never have it in characterful poses. For anything else, choose DollZone over it. The engineering of the latest boy body especially is incredible, just as @lee_bee69 says!

 

Fair. All right, you've sold me. I'll be back for him when I have MP access and start hunting damaged ones for cheap.

I have a floating head that came with one of my Soom Mini Gem dolls that I'd like to get a body for. Since it's a mature tiny scale /4 inch head, I was thinking the B27-002 would work better than the B27-004. What do you guys think?

I have a doll on the "Special" human body, and it looks too small for the head.

 

I don't think either of those two bodies would look good with a mature head... I have a DZ Chinese Dragon Girl event doll head on my B27-002, which is a 5" head. I would not go smaller than that, and not really mature either... I sadly don't have any mature tiny heads around at the moment, but yeah, my gut says no to either of those bodies. The human Special body from DZ is only 18cm, which is why I think it doesn't suit the head you have. At most I can try an Obitsu 27cm option head on either of those two bodies, but I think it'll look ridiculous.

 

Thanks @IzabethS I wasn't sure it would work. The head may just stay a floating head.

 

Hello guys, have you heard about this collaboration? They say it is limited. And only few people can buy it. They only showcase it in China. She’s a big yosd they say and about 35cm tall.

 

I've not heard of a DZ collab, but I'm usually not up to date with this kind of information...

I'm wondering if anyone has received its Lacey or Neveu...? (I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask, but this is the only thread that has mention of these dolls apart from the waiting room so...) I'm wondering about some measurements, and DZ does not seem too keen on answering my mail And I think I trust you more for precise measurements (language barrier and all that). It's for a custom wig. I don't want my girl to go all bald when she will (finally) arrive

 

Hey everyone! I may have asked this before but did anyone else order the new yo carter from the children's day event? I intended for the new carter to be a twin for my old carter but looking at the blank pictures side by side, their faces look totally different! Am I imagining things or do you guys see it too?

 

i only have the yo-carter from the previous year's event. do you have side-by-side photos to show us?

 

Hello! I've a Daomiao for quite a bit now but I decided to ask this now for some reason! My male yosd body sits very oddly. His leg joints kind of pop out of the socket when I move his legs up. Does anyone else's doll do this? Are his joints just positioned incorrectly?

@lee_bee69 I ordered the Yo-Carter back in May too! ^.^ I haven't looked at it that well side by side with the pictures from the other Carters. I do think that the Yosd versions of the msd dolls are a little diffrent from their msd version, My Daomiao feels like he looks a little softer then the msd Scarecrow Hal.
Hopefully they will arive to us soon! Wouldn't a shipping notice be the best christmas present!

@shikashiba This is normal ^.^ And i find that it works much much better then the girl body that does have the booty hiding the joints. The Girl body can't sit unsuported, while my boy body can. Also i find that the boy body poses much better overal, that's why i ordered my yo-carter who is suposed to be a girl on the boy body xD

 

@*Kazuki* Oh, alright. Thank you! I've only seen the girl body do that same pose which is why I was confused. He does sit very well, though.

 

Have you seen the new Honey and Milky Tea?
I love the new body, with large legs and ankles !! I would have like the legs to be a tiny bit shorter but it's ok as it is. Both the heads are really lovely, but my heart goes to Honey! With some light mods she would make a great alien looking girl XD
However I'm not fond of this head on this body, even if I love them separately. The head is much too big for me, I prefer more real looking proportions.
Anyone planning on buying one? I hope I will be able to get her... (no bjd money atm )

 

The body went directly on my wishlist... I keep giving money at dollzone and doll chateau, but i'll wait for Neveu to arrive before ordering again...

 

About my earlier Carter question, I answered it myself- looking at the blank company photos, the eye and chin shapes looked different but I saw an owner photo and they look pretty much identical irl!

I fell in love with the new bodies as well! I agree, the head size isn't my favourite.... I wonder how their regular baby size heads would look on the new chubby body? Food for thought!
