Dollzone Isabel Discussion Thread

slightly off topic for me...(since im going to be going all dollzone elitist now....)

I really think Dollzone gets snubbed a lot by many doll owners in the doll community. They have gorgeous dolls and they keep getting better at their art. I am sure there are some people who think they are crappy because of what people do with them...(which isn't the way someone should go about it) and some people probably think they are crappy because so many people have them. (I have four dollzone dollies and one luts head on a dollzone body, I buy them because I choose too). If any other doll company like DOD had afforable prices as dollzone and had ties to united states stores so that people could buy them easily, it would definitely be the same deal.

I can say that some designers of dolls haven't been changing (Like Cerberus Project with their non moving torsos that drive me nuts ((he has gotten better at slowly changing those, but with certain companies i. e. fairyland with the choice for their minifees, the female feeples, or their senior delf on luts)), or Bobobie dolls who have GORGEOUS heads that still need some sculpting work and horrible bodies, not to mention their really really bad customer service).

Dollzone, even their limiteds, have been affordable. I think that is great especially for doll owners starting out too in the hobby. Beautiful dolls should be affordable (though with us doll owners we have found that we go the extra mile usually when a gorgeous sculpt captures our attention)

I am really excited for Isabel. I cannot contain my glee. When I talked with them last week in store they said they had five dolls of her left! A friend of mine was going to get her, but decided on getting some puki's from their christmas promotion instead. >_> Though even then I think she should chill a little and wait til she fixes her money problems shes been running into.

 

I am actually planning on getting a Dollzone Fenyo 2 girl fullset (that dress is too damn cute to not get!). I've eyed the fei too, but DDE has it as a girl. I think the dollie would be a cute pouty boy like Megi. LINK TO YOUR PHOTO THREAD! I want to see!

 

When all thirty are sold then yes, there will be no more. Act fast cause the last time I talked to them there was only five of her left. Its first come first serve pretty much. You could put a deposit down on her first (you can ask them if you can put a small payment down if 120 is too much) and pay the rest when she comes in after Christmas. That is what I would recommend for you. That and you can get the little leo! ^_^

 

I was in the dollstore putting in my payment this last Friday and discovered they come with shoes! The insignia on their foreheads are GORGEOUS TOO! :3 I want mine so bad.... SOOO BAD

 

We have a waiting room for her up that I started, but yes I do have one on layaway too! ^_^ Im picking her up on saturday from the store.

 

Absynthe: Have you tried to email them? They get back to you really fast about that stuff. They also don't have all of them in in the store too they have to wait for dollzone to ship them to them then ship them to you. Dollzone is currently slow cause of the chinese New year too. So Just contact them at the store via email or call and they will get back to you. :3 Dont worry she will make it to you soon. I am still waiting on my Leo wig so I am chopping that up to them been slow cause of the holidays and new year.

Lenore: All Dolls cost this much; for full set and limited its a great price! Shes actually one of the reasonably priced dolls for a great quality out there.
