Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       I love the face on Liz and decided to add my name to the list. This is sure to just thrill my husband. :chibi But that's the problem with Limiteds... now or (most likely) never.

      Question for people who've done this sort of thing through Doll & Hobby before: do they have a policy regarding being on the list for more than one doll? If you are on the list for both dolls and lightening strikes and you're able to get both dolls, are you obligated to buy both?

      There's another doll I'd like to get on the list for, my thinking being I may not get one but strike lucky with the other. However, should fortune smile(?) upon me and I make the cut for both, I would be royally screwed financially. So does anyone know where Doll & Hobby stands on this type of situation?

      I can always call tomorrow, but thought someone around here might know.

    9. The reason that D&H can only ship to North America is because that was the deal that Volks made them have. :(

      As to preordering more than one doll, no matter what, you are obligated to buy any doll you preorder if it comes in. If both the dolls you preorder come in, you must buy both. (and actually, you pay ahead of time, if I remember correctly, and then get a refund if the doll doesn't come in.) There are no cancelations.

      Though if you got both dolls, and couldnt afford them, you could PROBABLY sell one fairly easily on DoA.

    11. They might have changed their policy about pre-payment.....I asked Mary Ann today when my account would be charged, and she said it would be when the doll came in, and that is when they send out the email with the tracking number.

    14. That's because they don't know how much the cost will be until they're shipped. (It changes with the exchange rate.)

      I'm sure they'd rather charge once, than issue refunds or extra charges for the wrong amount. ^^;

    15. Totally understandable that Frank prefers people not cancel. I can imagine what a pickle it'd be if he had buyers back out on a number of dolls. I just thought it was worth asking since I've heard Volks moves on to the next in line if people win the raffles and decide not to purchase.

      I'm going to err on the side of caution (aka common sense) and limit my gamble to Liz.

      :x A pox on Dollpas! They occur far too frequently and have too many beautiful limiteds!

    17. Mary Ann said I was the fourth to call her ...she pretty much said the same thing to me (quoted above) so...big gamble, do I try to get in on the Volks after party and then possibly get two??? or count on D&H and then perhaps get none???
      Liz is the most popular , so my hopes for Heath are high. I am going to call tomorrow and add some jeans.
      I hope we all get lucky

    20. :oops: I am currently NO: 30 for Liz and Isao's chair. The guy who picked up the phone sounded very stressed out....I think he must have been overwhelmed by the amount of phone calls. But I do hope I can still get Liz
