Hi, I just placed my order this morning. But they didnt ask for my Email address, so how they gonna send me the tracking number? Are they going to call me? Does anyone know how long the wait time gonna be? I didnt want to ask the man on the phone, because he does sounds really tired. ops: Hope someone here knows more information.
I ordered this morning and they asked me for my telephone number. Did they asked you for that at least? That's how they will contact you. They have NO information on how many they will get, when they will get them or when they will get the information. I asked when I was on the phone with them. So...at this point, sit back, have a few drinks, cross your fingers and relax. You've done all you can and hopefully Volks will be nice and give them all the dolls they need and they won't need to do a lottery. But if they do...they do. :grin: Think positive! At least we have a chance, right?

I tried to ask how far down the list I was on for Heath and the guy couldn't tell me, so I'm not sure they could have (depending on when you called). I also asked if the clothing was limited and he couldn't even tell me that...so here is to a wildcard order! Not a problem. I love Las Vegas and gambling on the nickle slots (I'm SUCH a high roller as you can tell). So, this isn't a big deal. It's all in the attitude. :grin: I think I may wait a few days and call back to see how many people ordered my doll and see where I am on the list. Just wait a bit for the dust to clear and things to calm down with D&H. If I do this, I'll post it here so people aren't inidating the shop with the same calls for the bad boy. :wink:

Well he came back, only works weekends, re-took all my info which Mary Ann didnt even take yesterday so no hope of figuring out where I was on the list although I know I called them around 4-4:15 yesterday. I ordered yesterday and was only asked if I had ordered before and my phone #. I asked if they had my cc on file (usually they take a deposit)and the woman didn't say anything about payment yet. I think I will call during the week, when they are not as busy and just check to see if they have my cc# and to make sure they got my order. Hope there are dolls for everyone! - Barb in MA

You should call them directly and ask. They do have a local telephone number on their website. I posted their website address in this thread a few posts back.
Gah, I hope it's not too late, I'm about to call in to leave a message at D&H to order a Heath (I hope I can get him!). It took a while to convince my parents that I'd like him for my graduation present XD;; and that one of my girl's needed a BF. LOL.

I know this is late and not sure if you you have your answer yet. I've called Doll & Hobby and I was told: Yes, they will ship Volks items to Mexico. Unfortunately, there is no insurance on the shipped items. So if an item gets damaged, you can't make a claim for the damages. I was also told, if you wish to order, is to send them an email, include your address and they'll let you know the costs and any other info you need to know. I was warned shipping to Mexico is expensive and no insurance at all. I hope this helps.
