Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Well I could not stand not knowing what to do ... esp with the chance to get one at the next "Event" so I called. She said at least a month till they get the dolls, no way to tell where I am on the list - Frank had it -, she seemed kinda confident that they would get dolls and wasnt as cautious as I have heard them be, but could not commit or really tell me anything soo...as least I know for sure that I dont know.

      If you do decide to try for the same doll at the After Party, if you get that one, you could always sell the dupe Doll & Hobby a month from now in the DOA Marketplace. Someone may have missed the pre-ordering time at D&H, or may not have the available funds to try to order during the After Party. And I don't want to jinx anything, but we know that the whole After Party might not go as smooth as Volks and we would hope...it could just as easily crash their site again. JMHO, good luck to you and I hope you do end up with at least one of the dollies of your dreams! :grin:

    4. I received my confirmation e-mail for Rengemaru too (he's also shown in-stock on their site). I guess Volks sent more of the Kyoto 3 dolls than they were expecting? ^^;

      The number is 877-324-3200. They're already closed for today though, so I'd try tomorrow; they open at 10 a.m. EST. I'm not sure it they're still letting people join the lottery for the jeans though, as they had a pre-order deadline for all of the Dolpa items on May 8th.

    7. I called D&H a couple of days ago and the guy there told me that the order should be in in a couple of weeks. Vague, I know, but I don't think he really had any idea...

    11. :? I just received my credit card payment slip and there's a deduction of US$289 from it under The Doll Hobby Shop. But I didn't receive any email notification at all about payment though....very puzzled.

      Did anyone receive any news from DOLL & HOBBY? I hope it's not a un-authorized payment from some where else!!! Worried.... *_*

    12. DHS usually charges your card when they ship. If you had something on pre-order, it's probably on the way to you right now. ^_^

      They don't usually inform people indivigually when they ship.

    13. Janne : This rather new to me. Plus I pre-ordered a few items and now I don't know what are the charges for. I just emailed them and hopefully they will update me on the items cos' I called up my credit card company this morning to investigate on this transaction thinking that it's a un-authorized transaction. Since I almost forgotten about this pre-order then. :o

    14. It never hurts to be safe, but it's probably your pre-order. They can take a while to come in.
      It's hard to tell from the amount of the charge too, since he might not have gotten everything you ordered in.
      Hope you get a good surprise. :D
