Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. I spoke to Frank in person today (around 3:00pm) - He has not contacted ANY of the people who are getting Liz. I asked him if I was on the list of the 4 and he checked his computer and said yes, but since I have grown out of my fondness for her, he let me take my name off the list so someone else waiting will get her (because the list of those who wanted Liz was about 40 people long) ^_^

      He said it looks like the end of the week for the dolls, and he will contact the people AFTER he gets them in the store.

      I did call, and ask to speak to Frank, and it certainly sounded like him on the phone, and he did say he recognized my name as being on the list of four, and he did check, but now I guess I shall have to wait and see all over again, since he now says he hasn't contacted ANY of the people.

      However, Zev I think what you did is marvellous, since now someone (and I hope it's Kallisti :) that really wants Liz will get her. It's nice to see that not everyone is interested in Liz for resale value.

    7. I would love to get her and not for resale either! I'm not wild about her outfit, but I love everything else about her. I just hope that the lucky 4 post pics for the rest of us... I'm pretty sure that I was too late to be in the top 4 or 5 but until we hear it from Frank there is still hope.

    8. Michelle, I just think my assumption was bogus. Frank had mentioned talking to one person, and that he was waiting to hear from one more... so I assumed he'd sent out a notice to those four and he was just waiting on one reply. Random dumb assumption by meeeeeeeee!

      I hope it is me too (being #5) :o but I ain't gettin' my hopes up, if'n you know what I mean.

      It was a very brave and noble thing Zevchan did, no matter WHO gets her! :daisy

      I hope you don't feel that I was implying that any of us are after Liz for resale value....
      I so wasn't.....
      I just was thinking it was very noble of Zev to back off the list, knowing that she could have resold her easily, so someone else could have her at retail.
      Sometimes it's so tempting to try for a profit (I always resell for what I buy for, if possible, just my principal), and I just thought it really great that that isn't an issue here.

I just meant that I can't imagine anyone that got her wanting to sell her. She's the cutest Volks sculpt and those new legs are amazing. I can't wait to see some owner pics flood the DoA Gallery.

      And I agree, Zevchan was very sweet to let her Liz go to the next in line.

    19. I already knew I wasn't high enough on the list for Liz (spoke to Frank last week), but.... I just went to the Doll-Hobby web site and there was Kun in stock. I'm as happy as can be with her, and at regular retail (and normal shiping)!
