1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Don't cry little one

Jul 9, 2013

    1. Such a brilliant topic, thank you!
I can't say that my imagination is somewhat vivid, but I certainly noticed that if a doll has "sad" expression I tend to play with it more. From then on I only paint them sad.

    2. I try to cheer my dolly up by making him some new clothes, or If money provides new items, Like his Yu-Gi-oh cards. In responce to Aryante and for some of you who feel their dolls have no feeling or emotions, I honestly can not fathom that, but I still hope the hobby rewards you well.:fangirl:

    3. Finch gets scared easily. He’s just a little boy. When he’s scared, I’ll just hold him until he calms down. Sometimes I’ll give him his doll or another toy. And it helps if we do something fun, like a photoshoot.

    4. I'm really glad my dolls are solidly in the "inanimate objects"-camp.

    5. Just give them a little attention, that's probably all they want. ;)

    6. When Madison (minifee chloe) is sad she tends to fall on me, so I give her a hug. Mostly I will hug them, give them some attention or make them something new. Like yesterday, my off topic hujoo Freya has been looking sad for few weeks, I tried to make her feel more part of the group, but it still didn't cheer her up. So I spent some time with her, re did her face up and made her a new outfit. She looks happy again now. My Littlefee ante Riley keeps looking scared when I pick her up since I restrung her, I think she thinks I'll do it again, bless her, going to have to prove to her that I don't always pick her up to restring her.

    7. Depends on the doll... If Finn looks upset all it usually takes is posing him with C or one of my other dolls and he looks fine again xD he's a little social butterfly. Nowe is the direct opposite, if he looks sad he's better left alone, he tends to get fussy otherwise and the same pretty much applies to Mephy as well. Hyorin is all for hugs and snuggles on the other hand xD

    8. I've always planned on having only two or three dolls just because it's hard for me to feel like I'm spending enough time with them if there were more. Right now I have a PKF and a MNF and I'm thinking about investing in a Littlefee to complete my collection.
