Dream Realm 70cm boys Discussion

hey, you never know beautiful 20's might work. the dream realm guys are so beautiful they could probably wear anything.

 

Any owner pics of the Black Crow boy yet? xD;; I've fallen quite hard for him, I'm afraid, (He'd be great as a naga boy! ) but I'm rather averse to the idea of even thinking of purchasing him without seeing some non-company pictures, especially because there's only one company picture of him without that gorgeous mask on.

EDIT: Just realized I forgot to ask, but does anyone have a picture of what Dream Realm's tan skin looks like? I've checked their site, but couldn't find it, and I'm not sure if I'm just not looking in the right place or it simply isn't there? /:

 

A friend just got her tan Dream Realm boy today, and I've taken tons of pics. I'll be posting them shortly, but I'm going to let her post her box opening photos and stuff first. Bit I would really really like to know if anyone else out there has a tan Dream Realm doll, or if she is the first DoA member to get one.

 

Ooo, can't wait to see. I've been debating about getting one.

My Dream Realm Rad Coreco came in a couple of days ago, of course while I'm getting ready for a trip. He's wonderful- I've never owned a big guy before- my biggest doll was my Mir. I can't wait to play with him more but unfortunately I'm leaving town for a week (always happens).

Hopefully Mineka can get everything fixed without too much trouble, and hopefully Dream Realm will learn from their flaws? I think I might end up opting for an albino naga instead, since white skin usually has the least issues... >; What a horrible pity!

Cirquemom: Your guy is gorgeous! I love his eyebrows, and the name Adam seems to suit him. I look forward to seeing more of him on DoA!

 

That's a terrible shame - I have no idea what they were thinking; maybe they have a new person? My Antonio had a few grubby marks on him but nothing like that insane seam removal.

Just updating my last post to say I got some looser style Dollmore Model tops and boots and some pants from Marsh, so he's properly outfitted now.

 

That's awful about the tan skin...but the new body sculpt looks great, how does it pose/move? (if you don't mind my asking)

 

I'm so sorry that happened to you, Mineka... I was planning on getting a tan body but now I'm definitely giving it second thoughts...

naughtyfairyspirit -- ira_scargeear posted a bunch of posing pictures with her new DR body here... It looks like a pretty good body for posing...

 

Fortunately, they've offered her a refund for the doll, so at least they're willing to work with her and resolve this issue. But I would hold off on ordering tan dolls from them for a while until they get more experience with them probably.

I haven't played with the body much and really put it through it's poses, but I would say that from what I have seen, it does pose pretty well. He came strung really tightly and can stand on carpet right out of the box. He sits well although his hips pop out of the socket a bit, and he can slouch and touch his face easily. The joints don't always fit together very smoothly though (aesthetic thing) There is a lot of mobility in his chest joint, but not his hips. His one foot always wants to be pointing if there's no weight on it to keep it bent. And his penis has a tendency to fall out I think that could be easily fixed either by some eye putty inside his pelvis or with hot glue or epoxy.

 

I have been looking at several Dream Realm dolls for quite a long time now, actually, it has been since they first got on the doll scene, and I really do love their dolls.

However, when I first saw them, I was worried, since no one had really heard about them, but now seeing so many people post about theirs, it really makes me want to purchase one.

My favorite has always been Wu Hen and Xiao Chi, but the newest one SuiTian is gorgeous as well.

I guess that everyone can tell that I love the Chinese influenced men, but Antonio is simply gorgeous, and I do love the clothes they have put him in.

Actually, that goes for all of the dolls that Dream Realm does. I have noticed that they pay special attention to their clothes, and it makes me happy that you are able to buy the clothing on the doll, which is not always the case for all doll manufacturers.

I want to thank everyone for showing your gorgeous guys to us all. Your picts definitely make it so that I want to buy one as soon as I can, but I just bought two other dolls this evening and that is my limit for a bit!! (o';'o)

 

I've got my heart set on this one, I'm making him my first! Just got to wait until the end of November for my extra money to arrive so I can afford him. ~wheee~ I'm so excited.

 

I love the Dream Realm faces, they're so different to other ones I've seen. I've seen some horror stories about inconsistent skins and clothes sizes etc but for the most part they seem to have a positive review. I suppose all bjd's are susceptible to problems and with DR being so new they're bound to be feeling their way through and finding problems as they go along. Perhaps by now their problems are mostly worked out. I hope so because I really want Sui-Tan!

 

does someone know if the dream real NS resin could match the Soom's one?
