Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Argh! I was almost over these fairies and elves. I was going to be sensible and get bodies for the floating heads I have sitting around. Now I just want to start saving up to either get a Nox or a Nero or wait for the next one if those are sold out.

      Does anyone have one of the elves or fairies and a Doll Chateau tiny moosetaur Ada? I'm curious about how the proportions compare.

      My Maia and Taygeta helped rescue a little lost ice dragon today.... I just love photographing these dolls they are so great to pose and I never feel like I'm in danger of breaking them :)

    6. GJOYfulBears, Thank you! I love your Ada! They do work well together. Now I MUST HAVE one of the DHS fairies or elves to go with my moosetaur twins. I probably won't be able to save up in time for Nero, but DHS comes out with new ones pretty regularly at least.

Thank you! :) I have yet to add to her face-up, she's going to be a tribal girl like my other Ada's however this one is more brightly coloured in her antlers as she's the leader of my Ada "herd" lol. The DHS dolls really blend well with them I think, they're very similar in expression and their personalities are very similar I think. The DHS dolls move heaps better than the DC Ada's though - the DHS dolls are so easy to move and they hold their poses, I'd definitely recommend them :)

      Now to cheer up everyone's day/week ~ here's Maia, watching over everyone :)

    8. GJOYfulBears, that's a fabulous painting job on your Ada!

      Well, I did get a little one, who held court at our recent meetup, on her own little cushion:

      Haven't decided if she's going to wear any type of hair. But I think a beaded hip-belt of some kind is definitely called for. When I gingerly pulled her arm out, it looked like they're strung with monofilament! Gonna need a microscope to restring any of these!

      No word on Gaia yet. And I waited too long to inquire after the last Nero. I see he's not listed on the site anymore. I hope they'll come out with another grey edition sometime!

    9. hobbywhelmed ~ She's gorgeous! I agree with you if they do wear clothing I envisage it as being minimalistic as I sort of picture these dolls as being very other worldly. Have you ordered your Gaia, or are you wondering if Donny could still make you one? Nero is still on the website, you need to go into "Products" and then scroll until you see Nero. He's still available to order by the looks of the listing as it allows me to add him to my cart (even though I'm not purchasing).
      There's also a grey DHS doll available through a doll shop, similar to Nero but different eyes. His name is Nox.

    10. GJOYfulBears - Yup, he's in the drop-down list, but no longer in the active catalog page that comes up with all the other available dolls. And the drop-down says out of stock, and I remember his page saying 1 left. It doesn't say that any more. I wonder if the website is geared to let you know if something's out of stock when you try to checkout.

      Saw Nox - not sure if I want fairies with fangs! Would prefer not dealing with that shop unless it's unavoidable too. At any rate, I should try and be good for just awhile longer, until all the autumn/Christmas presentations start coming out from my other company weaknesses!

      Yes, ordered Gaia the first day!

    11. Has anyone got their Gaia yet? I am going nuts waiting- I haven't been this excited about a doll in ages.

      My Grandpa passed away a few days ago and we don't know how long my Grandma has, so anticipating a dolly is a nice distraction to cheer me up. Can I call for some more pics of the Fairies with other dolls?

    13. Oh thank you! You're very sweet. I'm doing okay about it, as much as one can, partly because they'd want to go this close together. They've been married for well over 50 years and wouldn't like being parted long. It's just sad for us they leave behind, because it'll be a while before we see them again, (here's what I mean) but I know we'll be together again eventually.


      I think my Gaia will be male-ish, and I'm going to give him a little flop-hawk type tuft of hair for a wig. I'm thinking of the name Milo.
      I might be dyeing his hair light blue, but I'm not sure about colors until I get him here.

      I asked to get him without blushing, and I think his horn parts and wings will be clear if they don't get painted. I'll frost the tips of them with iridescent pearl-ex powders, I think. My plans for colors so far are blue, green and silver, probably with pearly blushing.

      These guys don't seem to lend themselves to wearing much clothing. Fairies seem quite happy in the nude.

    17. Thanks. Funeral was today, and it was a beautiful service.

      That's a great little snapshot! Look how tiny she is on his shoulder! I hope my dolly gets across the ocean to me sometime the next two weeks. We'll see.

    19. I got a shipping notice for my Elvenia last night! :D I've never seen a DHS doll in person (kinda makes me sad I can't make it to the NYC meets since I work on Saturdays T_T) so I'm really excited to finally get her! :)
