Auntbear: Thanks hun. I was so taken aback by such an incredible gift! Yes, she's my first DHS doll. I'm planning on sending her off to have a little nose and eyelids painted on, and some eyelashes put in. And I'm going to make her a little mossy cave to live in.
Hey guys! Anyone have a photo to share of an 11cm-14cm DH next to an Elfdoll 14cm doll? Much appreciated!! Can someone help me out, there was a photo on Flickr showing an Ossia deer, Filia, a RealPuki, and some other dolls for size reference, but now I can't find it to save my life!!! Thanks!
I have pictures with a puki and realpuki https://www.flickr.com/photos/7648297@N03/sets/72157640577235743/
Thank you wlkies!! I thought it was your photo, but I couldn't find it in your stream. Thanks a bunch!
so I made a picture of my mindelre next to dreamhigh ones...the swans will be the tiny size like filia only bigger bottoms
I can't wait for my Filia!!! I ordered him blank from Donny. Just received my first DH, a secondhand Zelenia. She's also going to be my first "mod." I'm giving her bigger eyes and going to try to "shave" down the back of that pointy alien head.
Not sure if I'm too late for photo ref >< those are my DH elves and so far, I'm Super happy with them My Filia Zelenia on SD16 girl hands. She's so delicated. And Gaia Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
ah dr seiji...love your dolls and the pictures you made are great!! I think they are very special...and I like them best without clothing.
They do work very well without clothing! But I still want to be creative and make them "partial" clothing pieces. They'll be decorated more than they'll actually be clothed, lol.
love to see what you will do with your critters...you do have some catsy's from elfdoll...I think they make a great combination.....as for clothings I have seen some that have clothings and love them, they have their very own personality's...my swans will sure get some ballet stuff, and filia just stole my realpuki ara's pants....think he will look great in oufits
Finally got a very quick photo shoot of my newest member, a modified Zelenia. I opened her eyes and sanded down some of her alien head. This her second peacock faceup, but I still think it's too sloppy, will have to do it AGAIN! Anyway... Yay for tree fairies! Modified DreamHigh Zelenia by DanceCat 2, on Flickr[/IMG]
And I must spam my new DHS member - Feilene! The girls are bored waiting for Filia to get home. It's very interesting how DreamHigh's work with or without clothing and with or without hair! Though I do want some type of hair for them, it may be a while before I figure out what kind would be most suiting!!! My yet-to-be-named tree sprites by DanceCat 2, on Flickr[/IMG]
My little guy is fond of his hair, and of other dolls' hair. His name is Ebi, but his nickname is headcrab. DSC_0589 by iwasteela, on Flickr
Wow I really like to see all your DHS Dolls. A year ago or so I discoverd Dream High Studio und I immediatly fell in love with their dolls. Especially the delicate looking 14 cm fairies. In March this year my Nox Tiquell moved in. And I'm still in love
Okay, I have a question for those who have more than one DHS. So far I have two secondhands, Zelenia and Feilene. Zelenia is not a glow-in-the-dark, she's a normal resin. Feilene is a glow type. Zelenia's posing abilities are superior to Feilene's and I'm wondering if it might be the resin. My mom's not experienced with BJDs but she checks mine out and when I got Feilene she said "this one feels cheap compared to the other one." The resin does feel different. But I assume it's got to do with the GID. My Filia's not home yet but I imagine he'll feel the same as Feilene, which could mean his posing will be just as poor?? What do you guys think?
never thought about it, but I think it is not the resin, because my feilene and others were good posers in the beginning but the older they become the worse they pose, so I think it has to do with the elastic?...I was thinking about restringing them ever ....but have to find very thin but strong elastic,
