just want to say that the resin is not superior??...ofcourse they can break after all it is resin, so always handle with care..the dolls are very delicate, I once dropped my tiny deer and it broke at his hip and his antlers, but I did glue it back together so no need for a hospital.
but love it that donny offers hospital services
oh and they are all so cute, but boy I still can't find a money tree.....

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been on this thread. I love looking at everyone's DHS cuties and Samson I love your little Yo-sized boy. He is the Wizard among the Fae here. The boy whom all the animals and Fae love! I just got my DHS Kura the Turtle and I'm so in love. He is precious. (Sorry about how dark the pics are, it's very late here)

Thank you all, I plan to take lots more pics esp come spring Wilkies- I didn't mean the resin is superior... I had been reading through the threads and saw that DHS is using a new resin now and that you can have older sculpts redone etc and wondered if the previous resin is more fragile than the new. I know all resin is fragile,this just feels different somehow- more like porcelain.

Still can't make my mind up about Moley, so hard to decide which dolls you really really want to own and which you can just admire in pics KWIM?

 

That sweater is adorable! What size needles did you use? They look like they might have been smaller than size 0.

 

I'm not actually sure what size but I think those are my 0000's. They might have been my 00's. But yes I do use smaller than 0 for these tiny dolls.

 

Hmm I didn't see a new micro but two other very very cute dolls............with those adorable puffy cheeks........

pepper is so cute @Peggytoes. that is one doll i really regret missing! i don't know of anyway to resize the picture here on doa. i upload all of mine from flickr, and you just pick the size you want to share. i usually find the smaller medium is the right size. if you have a different host maybe someone else can help.

 

I think I saw that Pepper and Snowy are still in stock at Fabric and Friends. That's where I got my little Kura. They allow layaway too. They have a lot in stock that are sold out on the DHS website.

 

I am overwhelmed by cuteness! The outfit is beautiful (knit, crochet or both?) and she's just naturally adorable. The fellow in the back makes a good partner.

 

thanks. i'll have to see if they still have any when i sell some more stuff. my doll funds are too low right now to go shopping in the meantime i'm playing with the dollies i have and enjoying everyone else's vicariously

 

Thanks so much Marilyn! Pepper is wearing an original crochet design (wig and dress and headband) and is waiting for her fancy crocheted boots to go with it! (I'm just too busy right now with work)

make sure you pick the bbcode when you have clicked on sharing, flickr gives so many options and keeps changing how everything is set up its sometimes hard to keep up.

pepper is really cute, i see why she is your favorite.

 

I've been having trouble with the bbcode...I have to chop off the end and beginning for the pic to show o.O? Took me forever to troubleshoot. I think I cut the part at the beginning before the second https and the part at the end after my username
