@oksatow Such a cutie! Did you make the clothes? They're so cute and look really good! The outfit is really perfect! I especially love that the red brings out his rosy cheeks and nose! Adorable! I love the little basket too.

I was so sad to have missed out on Aldou and Willie, wasn't going to hesitate with him. I was literally counting down the hours, haha! I'm so excited! I'm deciding whether I should buy the lovely blue outfit for him too ( ELF MALE COUPLE Sets ).

 

I was lucky enough to get an Aldou, but I believe I'm going to stick to the tiniest dolls, so I may be rehoming mine.

 

@Peggytoes The tiny doll in your profile picture is adorable! Is it Pepper? How tiny is the tiniest? I'm really curious. Sorry for the questions, I'm fairly new to dolls under 1/4 myself :P Your face up on him to turn Aldou into a little witch is really cool, such tiny details. If you ever do decide to rehome him, I would be more than interested to give a little witch a tiny coven space!

Thank you so much! No, not I sewed this outfit, I have specially sent my Timofey to our russian seamstress to make this adorable outfit in Russian style.

I did see him and I love him - congrats on buying yours (would totally get the outfit )! The character I have in mind is female though, and Aldou or Willie would work better I think. Will have to keep a look out on the secondhand market and hope for the best .

 

@Vanytie Ah, I understand. Aldou works nicely for either gender, but Ben definitely has a very strong maleness about him! Good luck, fingers crossed for that secondhand market!

Haha, totally gonna get it. Might wait until after Christmas, because the outfits don't appear to be limited edition.

i was lucky enough to get an aldou (he is still naked so refuses to pose for pictures) but i missed out on willie. i was refreshing my page every 5 or 10 min to get the start of the erlease and he sold out between one refresh and the next! somehow ben just didn't do it for me, but i'm eager to see what donny comes up with next!

Yeah the sell out time was crazy fast! Ben definitely didn't sell out as fast, so I don't think you're alone there. I brought him straight away, as soon as it was time. I just love how he looks like a friendly old man. I love all their little personalities that shine through all of them.

Has Donny said he's doing more elves? I certainly hope so! I can't get enough of these little guys. I'll keep saving because I'm pretty sure I'll want them all, haha!

 

i, going to make him clothes after christmas, i hope this has been another busy year for me and my doll time has suffered. i'm hoping it will get better in the new year.

i don't think donny has said exactly what he plans, but when aldou sold out he said he was going to be making "lots of elves" so i'm hoping. the way the first two sold out should give him lots of incentive to make more!

ben is cute, but he didn't scream "i need to come to your house now!" like the other two did. and i'm trying to be more selective about adding dolls right now. i'm running out of room for the ones i have.

 

Does anyone know when Willie will be shipping??

I know how you feel. I missed out on Aldou, then couldn't buy Ben because I had a specialist appointment right at the time I was given to order him, and then didn't even bother trying on his release date because I was too down about my impending surgery.

But I figured there will be more of these adorable little gnomes in the future. It's just a matter of waiting. Something we BJD people are unfortunately expert at.

 

i have missed out on way too many dolls because of appointments this year, but was pleased that i at least managed to get aldou, since he has been my fav so far. but i love most of what donny does so figure there will eventually be a "friend" that will make it home to join him.
and yes i don't even want to think about how much time i've spent waiting for releases or shipments since i joined this hobby!
