So glad the house elves pulled you back in, Wovenflame. I hope more house elves are on the way, so my Ben could have a friend/partner.

I have plans for Ben but it just suddenly hit me that Ben looks a lot like caricatures of Jimmy Durante!

I just realized that you said "tiny Realfee sized" as though that would be smaller than a Pukifee. You were probably thinking of the itty bitty Realpuki size? Realfee is larger than a Pukifee but smaller than a Littlefee/YoSd.

I had to look that name up but YES, I certainly do see the resemblance to Jimmy Durante.

There is also something about Ben that reminds me of my husband's paternal grandfather. It's not the nose, LOL, but I'd like to compare a side by side photo to see where my feeling of recognition comes from. Perhaps it's the expression?

DaiyDayes Oh my god, they are so cute together. Love his costume, reminds me of Sherlock Holmes.

I am still waiting for my type of house elf to make a greatfather for little realpuki. Last one was a bit too serious and important looking, like a bank owner

LOL, I agree! I'm not sure what kind of personality he'll develop once I have him in my possession.

thanks! the glasses have been rolling around my doll toys/accessories for years! finally someone to wear them!
and the clothes on Aldou are from a CCC Mole (except the hat, I made that for Chas's son, but he...uh, donated it...)
and then Willie's clothes are made by me

 

Okay, I measured my Willie (omg )for another forum and figured someone here might also want some numbers! (all measurements are give or take a small squidge and may differ between Aldou, Ben and Willie because of finger/ear shape etc)

Widest part of her hips/bottom is 8cm

around her tummy/hip joint is 7.5cm

across chest between middle of shoulder joints is 2.2

across the back between middle of shoulder joints is 2.5

around her chest at her adorably blushed nipples, she is 7cm

her arms out straight from wrist to wrist is 10cm

shoulder to wrist is 4.5cm

shoulder to fingertip is 6.5

hip to ankle joint is 6cm

hip to floor/bottom of the foot is 7cm

inseam to ankle joint is 5cm

inseam to floor/bottom of the foot is 5.5cm

widest part of the foot is about 1.5cm

foot length is 2.8cm, I actually have several Ruby Red Galleria shoes for my PukiFee that she can wear! just be mindful of those toes!

around the hand at the widest is 4.7 (might be different for Aldou/Ben because of finger shape differences) mind those little fingers going into sleeves!


anything I'm missing, let me know, she's still setting out with the tape!

 

Thank you for all the measurements @DaisyDayes! Apparently the elfs have the same bodies, but slightly different heads just because of the ears. This is really helpful information. I might risk making some basics for Ben before he arrives

 

yeah, I figured the heads and hands are pretty sculpt specific, but I know my Aldou and Willie are the same size anywhere else and they fit comfortably in whatever PukiFee clothes I had on hand...they just didn't LIKE any of those clothes because of the youthful style

 

Heheh, that's really lovely IThese guys are so refreshing because they're so small but bring something so unique. I've been trying to think about what kind of 'old man style' I want for Ben, it's not been as straight forward for me as I thought it would be.

 

Thanks very much, DaisyDayes!!! I figure I'll dig out some of the older pkf clothes and beat them up a bit, stretch them out of shape. Maybe look in my own closet for ideas, lol!

Thanks so much for taking the time to do that. It is indeed very helpful. One more helpful measurement would be head size, though I know it varies somewhat between sculpts.

The comparison photo is a wonderful help!

Tell me, in your opinion, is there anyway the DH House Elves would fit in a 1:12 scale house and furniture? Someone on a DH Facebook group has a wonderful room set up that they say is 1:12 scale. Honestly though, I think they are mistaken and what they have is maybe 1:6 or 1:9 scale. I find that Pukifee is way too large for 1:12 scale! What do you think? Do you have furniture in 1:12 scale you could post Willie with?

 

He is definitely to big for 1:12 scale furniture. That size fits the realpuki size (about 9 cm).

 

Yes, that's exactly what I thought, but she seemed so sure of herself. I know I've taken photos of a Pukipuki in a traditional 1:12 scale doll house and although her height was okay-ish, she seemed absurdly tall for a child like figure. Her height would have been more appropriate if she was a more slender adult figure.

Help me think this through please. If I go by what this website says the 5.5" tall House Elves would be 5'5" tall in relation to a 1:12 scale house or furniture, but that doesn't seem right since I know Pukifees look too large and they are a similar size to the House Elves.

The equation, if I'm doing it correctly, would be 5.5" X 12 = 66" or 5'5".
