1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

DreamHigh Studio Discussion Thread - Part 2

    1. @MB Lilac, What a great scene! I love her outfit! I love the whole setting! I love all the mushrooms and the bunnies!

      And her cane! Did you make her cane?

    2. She is absolutely amazing! She makes a wonderful ol' woman with the less bushy eyebrows and added eyelashes. I love the wig and outfit too. I'm assuming you made them both?

    3. ah that outfit's perfect!

    4. WOW!! What a gorgeous photo

    5. Awesome. She looks perfect

    6. @DaisyDayes - Thanks! There's nothing growing in my garden yet, so it's perfect for a setting right now.
      @nancy_schroeder_ca - Thanks! Her cane is from the end of a driftwood root. I have a whole box full
      @El BJD - Thank you!
      @Wovenflame - Thank you! I always pictured her as an old woman, and love how my friend painted her. Yes, I made her clothes. She doesn't exactly have a 'wig'. I did make one, but it made her head look way too large, and totally hid her wonderful ears. So I sewed some mohair into the seams of the hat, to help keep everything in scale.
      @Rosslyn - Thanks! I was copying one of my old art figure's outfit. Can't say I enjoy making things so small.
      @Eiko82 - Thank you! That's what I buy these little guys for - the photo possibilities
      @namaro - Thanks so much!

      Today Willie was invited to have tea with Winston, my Dragon...

    7. Winston is such a gentleman! Another perfect scene!

    8. She is enchanting! Her clothes, the setting, her companion, and the teapot, cups and dainties - so perfectly fitting. Makes me wish I could be there, too.

    13. Winsron and Willie make a great pair!

    14. Makes me wish I had a wee tenant for the tiny roombox I am making as well.

      Mr Brinkley looks right at home there. Is it a 1:12 scale diorama, or larger?

      Ah yes, I think I'd go by dragon pushcart if I could too. No one would dare inflict their road rage on you! Looks like she might have a spell or two she could cast upon any offenders too.

    15. The scale for furniture is between 1/8 and 1/10. I am using everything I can find among vintage toys or I am making staff by myself.
      1/12 scale is a little bit smaller then necessary and thin.

      Re-ment works good

    16. Thanks! I kind of figured that about 1:10 scale would be about right. So hard to find though! I'll be making him an upholstered chair in that size after he arrives. It shouldn't be too much longer. He's been tracked as "in Canada" but unfortunately is held up somewhere for "further processing", Customs I suppose. Once he's in Canada Posts hands he still has to travel from Quebec to BC. Next week perhaps?

      I have an end table in my room box kit that seems to be constructed similarly. I haven't had time to work on it though. Life has been busy!

    17. I find it interesting that your Elf went the LONG way around and arrived in Canada on the east side. You'd think it would be faster to cross the Pacific and go straight to Vancouver. But then my Willie came through Montreal too.

      I hope your Ben makes it home to you soon.

      I'm loving my Willie....she's been out and about, welcoming the new hatchlings...
