Hello I am new here and think about a MSD mature mini. This is why I am searching for the right one which is really good at posing What about dreamingdoll little elva? And which face looks really mature? I think Misora looks a bit older. May you help me?
Hi, I was in the same position as you a few months ago and I chose little elva misora. She's my first BJD so I can't compare her to any others but she has double jointed elbows and single jointed legs, so I guess there are some poses she can't do. Also, her back is naturally very arched, so you have to bend her forward to get a more slouchy pose. I think she's pretty mature looking and it was great ordering from ddoll shop. She arrived really quickly and the wig was really good quality. I asked them to include brown eyes and brown wig and they were happy to do that.
Thank you minimoon for your kind answer. I am impressed that you can ask for wig and eyes color, coz I don't like the idea of getting random exes
They don't seem to have many wigs in stock but if they have what you ask for they'll include it. They have Misora available for overnight delivery at the moment, I bought her that way and she arrived in about 2 or 3 days, it was brilliant!
They'll ship it the day after you order, by EMS. I used to live in the UK and send things by EMS a lot - it's very fast, but it will probably get delayed a bit at customs. The only way to avoid customs is to buy from a dealer in Europe but I don't know anything about those.
I took my Misora out to the park today. It was her first time out of the house and a pretty successful trip. Although it was almost too sunny for photos, we had to hide under the trees. she's wearing an outfit I made for her and 14" Kish shoes from ebay. She's so pretty :-)
that is such a cute outfit minimoon - I had to come back for a 2nd and 3rd look - so much detail on the top! I have only just discovered DreamingDoll - like just now! (OK maybe an hour ago - time flies when you're drooling over a new dolly website) I am now DESPERATE for a Rio - can only afford a head though - and I need to sell some dolls to afford that much *sigh* Goodness they make such adorable sculpts though!
Thanks elve and elektroeule! I've been trying to improve my embroidery lately so the T-shirt was practice. And I made the tights like this because it turns out you can only get one and a half pairs of tights out of a pair of panties, so I have one purple pair one turquoise and one half and half! I just had to go over and look at Rio because I don't really know their SD size sculpts so well. She's really cute! They all are... Before I decided I wanted MSD size I was tempted to get Mae and now I'd quite like a Ryuna or a Lia to go with my Misora :-) They're an underrated company, which works out well as it means fast shipping times!
Woo-hoo! I just got my first DreamingDoll SD lady yesterday. She is utterly amazing, and I'm happy to be here. She's the new companion to my 70cm DZ (Hi, Elve! Yes, you want a DD doll, too!), and I love the way they look together. Good proportions, head sizes, etc. to look like a tall guy and a short girl. I didn't even know this company existed until I saw the Marketplace listing for the girl I bought; I think she's on the older type Elva body (no mobility joint and single jointed knees). She's wonderfully poseable, though. She has a limited faceup from a Korean BJD convention, and she's amazingly pretty. I'm very impressed with the resin quality and painting and sculpting details she has. One of the reasons I love my Dollzone boy so much is the resin heft and feel, and she's very similar, I think. Here they are. I'll put up a mini box opening later.
Eri and Elve - as much as I'm enjoying the company in this thread (it gets pretty quiet) I should probably let you two know that there's a thread for discussing the larger dreaming dolls here. Not sure if there's any Rios over there but there's definitely a few Maes
Thank you, Minimoon! I'm new to the company, so didn't recognize the difference. Is this thread only for the smaller Ddolls, or for any/all of them combined?
No worries, this thread is in the "mini" subforum, so it's for the little Elvas. The other thread is in the "larger" subforum, I've got no idea if there's a thread in the "tiny" section. It's a shame there can't just be one thread because both are pretty quiet but I guess that might get confusing
Thanks! They should change the titles, I always forget to look at the categories when I'm looking at new posts or search results.
